Those deemed worthy become warriors and are given the right to mate with the most beautiful maidens. Those that don’t make it are assigned other tasks. I wasn't thrilled with the ending just because I felt bad for Jumko, but I can appreciate how well written this story is to bring out those emotions. Excellent work!
