In this strange world, beyond human lands one can find what they call the Demon World, during the day the sky is green, during the night is dark red, monsters roam around, and settlements of Demons can be found in many places.

And in the center you can see a hill, towering over 500m in height, and the Demon King’s castle with a slightly hard access, this castle can be seen from every relevant place in the demon world, even the ominous feeling can be felt from such distances.

And in the throne room of this castle, sits the Demon King, the strongest Demon, undefeated by all, aiming to destroy the humans, until-

[It’s a pleasure to meet you, oh King of Demons.]

Completely undetected, someone appeared in this room while he is resting, the height is that of a human, the man is hiding his face under a hood, and for some reason, he looks semi-transparent, but he can’t sense any sort of invisibility magic of sorts. The invader is not moving, but if he thinks he can defeat the Demon King, he will be in for a surprise.

[I come from the Human side, I was told about a war where the Demons wanted to destroy the Human side, and I just felt... It doesn’t seem to be much reasoning behind that, so to confirm things, I come here to listen to your side.]

“Are you a human? You have a death wish?”

[I guess I’m human, I was summoned by some God to save the humans from the Demon King or something like that, but the more I heard the story, it just didn’t make sense, so I came here to confirm. I guess they called me an Outworlder.]

“I see, so even the gods are acting to stop me, as expected, but an Outworlder, I see, you may be something of a challenge...”

The Demon King instantly released some sort of really fast dark ball at the image exploding the area. The human was gone, but then he reappeared just the same a few meters to his side.

[I guess that’s to be expected, but I did come prepared to at least not die, so can we at least talk? I think you do understand that I won’t be killed easily.]

The Demon King stands up from his throne, he should be over 30m tall, he has a demonic tail, wings and big goat horns from his forehead, his skin is of a “fade blue” color, his hair that comes out of the back of the helmet is somewhat short and Red, and although he is full armored, you can see that he has a strong build, his armor is mostly black with glowing red details, it’s so ominous as if to say “I’m evil incarnate”. Any human, as strong as they may be, understands that the battle will certainly be hard.

[Ok ok, this is scary, I only came here to talk, please, let’s be civil!]

“You invade my room and wants civility?”

[You got me there I guess, but I can only apologize for that, and return later, so if you can just explain to me why you attacking the human territory?]

“Hmpf, you humans are weak.”

[… Is that all?]

“Is there something else needed?”

[Well, you say that, but you say you are the strongest, and you will kill those because they are weak… Won’t you kill the demons too?]

“...I hate you humans.”

[Oh, the reason changed, that’s good that’s good, I guess we need to go a little deeper here. So you hate humans, thus you need to kill them. Would that mean that you love your fellow demons? I heard there is quite a variety of you guys, seem really interesting if I may say so, it’s a-]

[I-I see, I read that you guys never really had much of a bother towards each other territory, so I’m surprised about it, but to think you are thinking of being the ruler, I see you are ambitious, must be trying to make the Demon Queen happy, right? I guess you are thinking things through, but-]

[… OK, so after you kill all humans, you planning on doing what? I mean, I started to think, who built this castle? Do they gain anything from just killing humans? I can’t imagine them being satisfied from that, nor you will after you achieve your objective, I guess at first they don’t know who to trust since you are the strongest, but once the dissatisfaction grows up, I would expect they themselves to try to stop you or something…]

“… Bastard, how do you-!”

[Eh? Really? I got it right? Wait, I see, so have you considered killing all of your weak subordinates to stop these acts of treason? Although I guess it wouldn’t make sense for your future reign to be seen as small because just from a handful of subordinates surviving, huh?]

The Demon King throws another dark ball, but the semi-invisible human appears from another place just after he was killed, he continues throwing a couple more, but the same happens all the time..

[It seems I got it seriously right, so, I can understand you hating humans, but you get nothing out of it besides a title. You are already the Demon King, what else do you want? Ruler of All? I guess we can agree then, I shall call you “Ruler of All” from now on, and I will ask the humans to do the same. Would you be satisfied?]

“… Bastard, reveal yourself!”

The human takes out his hood… And that’s it, he is just a human. The “Ruler of All” looks at him frustrated with the lack of impact left on him.

[See? I’m just a nobody, I’m hiding my face not to keep secrecy, but because there is nothing important to show. I just came here to see if I can stop the war or at least understand it, not trying to fight at all. So, wanna talk? I guess having assassins after your neck is not a problem considering your strength, but it must be frustrating as a King, oh, I mean, as a “Ruler of All”.]

“… You Bastard, stop mocking me… However, what you say makes sense… Continue.”

[I guess you have not been thinking too much on the aftermath, huh, these warmongers always start wars without knowing.] Sigh…

The Demon King is looking down that the mysterious human, but seems to be willing to listen.

[This is going faster than I was expecting, I thought you would just shut me down or something.]

“As you mentioned, I have my reasons to reach my objectives, but I have learned of a few of my weaknesses, so I will use you to improve”
