Story Notes:

This is a commissioned work that I've been working on with the requester for a few months now and I wanted to post it on here. If you end up liking what you read here and wish to commission me, feel free to check out my commission compilation posted on my profile. The first chapter of that has information on how to go about that.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

“Hey!”

The sound of the familiar voice and his front door shutting had Evan quickly shutting down the current screen on his computer, the receipt page of something he recently bought quickly minimizing before he shut off his desktop. Despite the startle, he seemed relaxed as he leaned back against his computer chair as he turned toward the open door to the room.

“Yeah, in here!” he called back, trying to relax as he shifted in his computer chair, turning it side to side somewhat.

His mind was buzzing with anticipation and he couldn’t seem to get his mind to focus on the moment at hand. Evan had been planning this for the whole year, on top of saving up for the whole process, and now the day was quickly approaching. While a part of him knew that it could  backfire, all the signs were there and he had a good feeling about it. Now, he just had to wait a little longer.

At the moment, however, he just had to focus on the current moment. Especially as Mia appeared in the doorway, giving him a small grin. Given the summer weather, she wore a pair of tight, black leggings with some matching shorts that hugged her legs in a way that left little to Evan’s imagination, a tight top highlighting the curves that he had found himself admiring over the years he had known Mia. Though, despite the warmer weather, she still wore an appealing black lipstick and heavy eyeliner, her dark hair resting over her shoulder as she seemed to take him in for a moment. That small grin still on her face.

And he realized he had been staring.

“Don’t tell me you’ve been cooped up in here all day,” she commented, finally walking into the space to lean her arms against the back of his chair with a playful grin, “We’ve got a night planned and you’ll need to be alert and engaged.”

“Not all day,” Evan grumbled, “Just a couple hours. Wanted to get a couple things ready for this week.”

“Well, good,” Mia chirped, patting the back of his computer chair with her hands before backing up a little as he stood up. “God, I can’t wait to leave this shithole of a town behind. I know I’ve been saying that since, like, sophomore year, but I really mean it.”

Evan wasn’t surprised to hear that–Mia had been more than vocal about the general mindsets of the town. Considering it really was a small, rural town, he couldn’t exactly blame her. She had some opinions and viewpoints that set her apart from the majority of people he’d seen in the town, even within their own friend group, and she had often complained about wanting to get out somewhere more open-minded. Evan couldn’t exactly say what he wanted to do with his life–recently graduating and the final week in their summer after high school, he knew things were going to change pretty quickly.

Which is what had him deciding to do what he was planning to do. Really, it was Mia’s open-mindedness that made him feel more confident in his decision.

“You’re still going to that college?” Evan asked once the two of them had exited the house, genuinely curious.

“Yeah,” she replied with a soft nod, “Even if I do end up transferring to another in the future, it’s still a decent place to figure out what I want to do. What about you? You’re still staying here?”

“For now,” Even said, “I don’t know. Everything’s up in the air.”

“You’re not the only one,” Mia reassured, “I mean, I don’t know why you’d want to stay here, but I know some people don’t have much choice. I know Jaycie has that whole ranch thing going on.”

Jaycie was another friend that Evan knew he’d at least have around town if he had to stay long-term. She was pretty average for what you’d expect from a ranch kid–blonde hair, skinny, very good with horses. Of course, she had kind of opened up a little more over the years, but she was still pretty quiet and shy around some other people. Sometimes. He’d seen her get into the odd verbal spat here and there, but otherwise she kind of kept most of her issues to herself.

Well–most, at least.

“Is she still dealing with that break-up?” Evan asked, raising an eyebrow when Mia let out a scoff in return.

“Little more than just a break-up,” Mia replied, “It’s kinda hard to just move on from someone cheating on you. Still, she’s good, just…fuck, if I could get my hands on that ex-boyfriend of her’s, I’d destroy that little bastard. Grind his ass into the ground under my heel.”

Evan inclined his head somewhat, knowing that the day Jaycie found out her boyfriend had been cheating on her for several months had been particularly hellish. Especially considering Mia had wanted to spearhead his public execution herself, but Jaycie just wanted to leave the situation behind. That he’d get what is coming to him eventually. Given her heavily religious background, he had no doubt that she believed that.

“But c’mon,” Mia continued, “The others are waiting in the park and I don’t want to think about the horrible people in this town all night.”

“Yeah, no doubt,” Evan agreed with a nod.

Mia tossed him a friendly grin over her shoulder, Evan following behind her toward the familiar park that they had spent most of their afternoons at while they were all still in school. Really, Mia had been talking about this little gathering at the end of the year for a while now, and was clearly looking forward to the night. Evan couldn’t help but feel like he was, too. There was a bit of a change in the air, an anticipation that even he couldn’t help but fall victim to. Things were looking up and it was clear that feeling was putting a bit of a bounce to Mia’s step–it was infectious, to say the least.

Really, Evan could only hope that energy would make his plans go right too.

***

Outside of a night of drinking and messing around, the last couple days were particularly torturous for Evan.

Ever since he saw the advertisement for a shrink-and-ship service, his mind had been alight with the possibilities when it came to him and Mia. There had been many times that he had wanted to express to her how he felt about her, yet it was hard to work up the confidence. That, or she was in another relationship and he lost his chance. They had always remained close friends, though, but it was clear that he’d wanted more.

With this last summer coming to a close, he figured that maybe he could accomplish that in a grand way.

He didn’t really know what the process had entailed, but the instructions once the package arrived seemed pretty straightforward. Judging from the reviews he had read of it online, he couldn’t help but feel hopeful that this would go his way. Plus, it apparently came with a reversing substance that he’d just take when it was time to grow back to his normal size. In his mind, it really was too much of a good opportunity to pass up.

It was just the waiting that was particularly torturous, given that he not only had to wait for everything to arrive but it was also the fact that he wanted to keep everything a secret from Mia and their friends.

So, naturally, when the package he was waiting for arrived, Evan jumped on the opportunity to get started.

As it had been explained somewhat online, the process seemed pretty straightforward. He would ingest the shrinking agent, secure that the reversing substance was in the proper vial so it would shrink with him. The instructions in particular noted that he had to ingest it for size reversal to work, yet he figured that was easy enough to remember. The shrinking agent also noted that the properties would make him particularly indestructible, which he figured was a bonus and probably an added assurance in the packaging and shipping process.

The padded box that it was shipped with had the company’s name on it, along with a prepaid shipping postage with Mia’s address on it. Evan could easily walk to her house, sure, but he didn’t want to be caught outside in case the shrinking agent acted quickly, and he wanted to make sure she noticed him at that size.

He wasn’t getting shrunk down to the size of an ant, but he’d still be small enough that the indestructible side-effect would be useful.

With the promise of same-day delivery, Evan felt confident enough to try this. Really, he had rehearsed what he wanted to say to Mia for longer than he cared to admit. Yet, at the moment, he was admittedly a little nervous about the shrinking aspect. He had always been fascinated by the idea of being tiny in the presence of a giant woman, yet with the fantasies threatening to become reality, he couldn’t help the small twisting in his gut.

Still, he paid the money to go through with this thing, so he figured he might as well.

Following the instructions, he placed the padded box on his front-step and swallowed down the shrinking agent. Making sure to place one of his feet in the box, he took in a breath and waited. A couple minutes passed where he made sure to contact the company that he had taken the shrinking agent, not really feeling anything for a short while. Yet, eventually, he could feel a sort of warmth in his gut.

That feeling started to spread out through his body, making his limbs tingle and his skin flush. His mind felt a little foggy, Evan breathing long breaths out of his nose as eventually that sensation settled. At that point, he felt like his bones were vibrating, constricting and eventually things started to change.

Evan didn’t pass out, watching as the world started to change around him. The railing of his porch started to look more and more like a pillar, gradually towering over him. The box under his foot seemed to expand under him, his reducing size allowing him to finally step inside the box and watch as his world grew bigger and bigger. His porch towered higher and higher above him, the walls of the box starting to grow bigger than him as well.

Unevenly, Evan managed to lay himself down in the box, watching as it grew bigger and accommodated him better until eventually things stopped changing. He shut his eyes, breathing slowly through his nose as the feeling of the shrinking agent settling further into his body and eventually faded. A part of him wanted to stand up and explore a bit, the new perspective was like nothing he had experienced before. Yet, he didn’t want to risk things going wrong.

So, he lay in the box, listening to the sounds of the neighborhood as he waited for his delivery person to arrive.

More waiting. He almost wanted to laugh, yet he couldn’t help but feel like his body and mind was alight with all the new possibilities. While he knew he wasn’t really in any danger of being seriously injured, offering himself up like he was to Mia could be seen as romantic. In a way. He had certainly read some people describe it that way on the website, and he figured it was just unique enough that it might win her over.

Yet, his thoughts were cut short when he heard the sound of a car door shutting nearby. Evan lay still, listening as it sounded like someone was approaching. Their footfalls grew louder and more noticeable as they did so. He could feel the vibration of their footsteps through the box as they climbed up the steps of his porch. A stranger appeared above him, dressed in a uniform bearing the same logo that was printed on the box.

She towered over him, a size that Evan couldn’t really comprehend for a few moments as she looked impassively at him. Yet, he didn’t get to look back at her for too long, as she quickly flipped the lid of the box closed. Immediately, he was cast in darkness, Evan hearing the sound of her taping up the box for delivery. Eventually, he felt his world shift again. Evan was tossed somewhat around the box as she carried it, none too carefully, back to the car.

Given the darkness and the movement, it wasn’t exactly Evan’s favorite part of the whole experience. That eventually settled, however, as she set the box down in the truck and all that was felt was the rumble of the engine and Evan’s pounding heart.

This was it. He was finally doing this.

Really, he had no idea how Mia would react. If she’d be appreciative or if this would go over as well as he hoped, but they had been friends for years by this point. Evan felt like she would find it strange but be charmed by it, as she usually was with things like this.

So, he settled himself in for the relatively short drive. Thankfully, he wasn’t shipping himself across the country–or across the world, even. He knew the company offered international options, but apparently the process was a little more complex. Thankfully, everything seemed to be going as the company said it would–on his end, at least.

As expected, his ride was over very quickly–given the distance, he was surprised they didn’t just walk a couple blocks and drop it off on her step.

Regardless, he braced himself against the next round of shaking as the delivery woman carried him to Mia’s house. Thankful for the padding, Evan was set down with a final thump against the bottom of the box as he heard the doorbell. His heart picked up pace wildly as he waited, listening as a few muffled footfalls approached the door before he heard it opening.

“Got a delivery for ya, hun,” the delivery woman said, Evan not hearing her speak until now. “No expense on your part. Just sign here.”

“I didn’t order anything…” Mia’s muffled voice again, sounding confused but intrigued.

A short silence followed, likely the signing of the papers, before Evan felt his world shift again as the box was picked up. He heard another small conversation exchanged, a set of goodbyes, yet it was hard to focus as the big moment was coming up. Evan shut his eyes as he took in a steadying breath, the box stopping in its movements as Mia likely placed it down somewhere.

He waited for a short while as it sounded like she was digging around for something, only returning after a minute or so. Evan heard the sound of something piercing the box, thankful that he was small enough to avoid getting stabbed by a knife or box cutter. As much as it wouldn’t do anything. Some light filtered into the space as Mia cut open the box, eventually flipping the lid open.

She almost hovered over him, arms resting on either side of the box as her huge face looked down at him. A colored strand of red hair fell into her face, one of the few colored streaks she had in her hair this month. Mia looked down at him with visible confusion, like she wasn’t too sure what she was looking at. Then she almost jerked back as if the realization startled her, an awkward, fluttery laugh escaping her as she leaned back over the box.

“Evan?” she asked, “What the hell?”

He couldn’t help the way he kind of flinched when she suddenly reached down, scooping him up gently as she looked him over with a somewhat shocked expression. Evan raised his hand up in a small wave, letting out a breathless chuckle of his own.

“Yeah. Hey.”

“Oh my God…” she started on an exhale, letting out a somewhat disbelieving chuckle as she let him play in her palm somewhat, “Wait–is this that weird shrink-and-ship thing people have been doing?”

“Well…Yeah. I mean, it’s pretty neat, right?”

“Sure…” she replied, her brows furrowing as she grinned somewhat uncomfortably, “Is this…some sort of prank or…?”

“No. No, not at all,” Evan replied, pausing as she finally shifted to place him down on the table.

Thankful for some solid ground, he pulled himself back up to a stand as he looked up at Mia. At her current angle, she was…simply massive, despite the fact that she was pretty short in their day-to-day life. He could see the way her breasts swelled somewhat with her breathing, one of her thighs being large enough to dwarf him alone as she stood there expectantly.

“I, uh…” Evan started, struggling to break from the train of thought he was heading down with those observations. “I wanted to shrink myself and deliver myself to you as a way to…offer my trust and…myself, I guess? All of this to say, despite this grand display, I’ve liked you for a long time Mia. With this last summer coming to a close, I just wanted to ask you something. Would you…be my girlfriend?”

Mia paused, staring down at him in continued disbelief. Really, her reaction slowly started to put a sinking feeling in his gut, her mouth somewhat slack as if she was trying to say something. Yet, he was startled by the laugh that tore from her mouth once it seemed like the situation sunk in. Mia tossed her head back somewhat, laughing hard as she placed a hand on her stomach somewhat as she tried to calm herself a little.

“You’re–You’re fucking with me, right?” she asked, letting a few uncontrolled chuckles escape. “How much did you pay for this? Holy shit, Evan…”

“Well…” he started, frozen to the spot, “Well, I thought…”

“No,” Mia replied with a small, amused huff. “No, Evan. I appreciate that you wanted to go this big for a confession like that, it’s really cute and I’m sure the right person would like it. Yet, I’m not the right person. I don’t like you that way. I like you as a friend. I’m sorry.”

“Hold on…” Evan started, shaking his head lightly. “All those times you teased me, the flirting?”

“What flirting?” Mia asked, her voice dropping into a serious tone.

“You know what flirting!” Evan exclaimed, “The teasing, the playful jabs at me trying to date, the way you act around me, the way you dress–”

“The way I dress?” Mia snapped, tilting her head. “That’s for me. Make no mistake, asshole. The rest is just me playing around. If you took that as flirting, that’s on you. I’ve never liked you that way, Evan.”

“I can’t believe this,” Evan said, standing on her table as if he wasn’t merely a couple inches tall, arguing with the giantess that was Mia currently.

“Look, this was really cute. I appreciate it, but I hope you know how to grow back.”

Despite a part of him knowing that he should just take the rejection, grow back to normal size, and go home, there was a part of him that burned at her words. A tightness in his gut, one that put a tension in his jaw as he looked up at her with a hard expression.

“Fuck you,” he spat, “Everybody talks about how you’re a whore, anyway. Maybe I should’ve listened.”

The words were out before he could stop them, feeling his gut tightening in rage before his mind seemed to catch up with the current situation. His anger started to shift when he noticed the way Mia’s expression changed.

It was clear that she wasn’t enjoying the conversation at the moment, yet he watched as her mouth flattened into a tight line, her eyes narrowing. A dark look crossed her face as she stared down at him, Evan watching on with a growing sense of dread as he realized that he was palm sized and had just royally pissed off his best friend. Though, he was caught completely off guard when she lunged forward.

Evan barely had time to register that she had moved, let alone stop the force of her hand coming down and pinning him to the table with a slam that likely would have broken a few bones if the shrinking agent wasn’t helping him out. Though, Evan couldn’t help but notice that part of his pants was getting wet, realizing that his pocket was leaking and–

Fuck! The reversing substance!

He groaned somewhat under the pressure of Mia’s hand as she leaned forward on it, anger clearly blazing in her gaze as she leaned in close.

“I’m sorry–a what?” she asked in a low voice.

“Mia–”

“No, no. You don’t get to take it back,” she snapped with a short, unamused chuckle, “A whore? Right? You think I’m a whore?”

“Mia, please just…” Evan groaned out, the words dying as she pressed her hand down harder, making it hard to breathe for a few moments.

“Look at you, helpless under my hand and yet you think you can insult me like that?” she asked, tilting her head. “But–well, if you think I’m a whore, I can show you how a whore uses one of her toys.”
