Twenty years ago, a dangerous virus swept through human civilization, transforming regular people into hostile, dangerous, pack-roving aggressors. Known as wolves, these mindless hunters overran society and forced humanity into smaller pocket communities for safety. Life as we knew it completely broke down, as the wolves were left to roam the streets of our old cities in packs. In the havens, humanity began to know safety and peace once more.
A rogue scientist, however, was about to shatter that sense of relative peace. Though she hoped to restore the infected and save humanity, she will instead teach humanity that the wolves are not the most dangerous thing out there...

I wrote this back in early 2018, and only now mustered up the courage to post it here. Let me know what you think - there is a second part I will post in a little bit, but feedback is encouraged! This is a relatively short and finite story (2 chapters), but could be expanded a bit more into a 3rd chapter if people enjoy it.
Depending on feedback, I might try to get back into writing more stories, as well. :)
