Oh man, so good. Attention to the violent parts and the apathy is fantastic.
You reckon you could work on a similar style of story, but focuses on the Empire using Giantess Stormtroopers? Military stories with extreme assymertral warfare are icing on the cake to me. Which is close to what this was, with Republic vs Empire.
But if it was on the other side...

I love the idea! Currently I'm working on other stories but if and when I return to the starwars universe for a story, this is something that I would want to do! I also like the military aspect of these stories with the soldiers having to use more than just firepower to counter the 'huge' threat. I had just reread parts of Heinz Guderian's 'Achtung Panzer!' and Eric Von Manstein's memoirs Before I wrote the second part of this story with the AT-STs...it probably shows LOL.
