Man, that was brutal at the end. What a way to go -- whacked by a whackjob.
Anyway, I was enjoying the narrative so much that I'd have liked to have seen you stretch it out a few more chapters, give Howard 'I think we may want different things' the Slave a few more interactions with Rachel and her roommate (surprised you didn't really bring in after the introduction), or again with Robin (who was a compelling character in the first couple chapters, so compelling that I was a bit shocked to see her at the end so coldly and remorselessly crush an already mutilated human being, and not only that but to deny that they were ever friendly toward each other and then to lay all the guilt on him -- the paraplegic).
In conclusion: great story and sorry to see it wrapped up so hastily. I'm enjoying your stuff.
