Would like Hannah to start to move Sarah a bit. Think Hannah, Thiea and Victoria should be a group over time, with Hannah and Victoria working together (Vicky wanting to protect all life a sacred, Hannah thinking mortals are 'cute' pets to start and slowly vauling them more as she is exposed to Vicky, Thiea and Ari).
Jeff should be Sarah's sin-eater (Hannah's as well), being a mere mortal he won't pretend to know more then they do (he can't), but he will always give them his honest prespective and that regardless of what they do to him he loves them with all his heart and soul. That in his understanding he will always put them first and endure what he must to help his wife and daughter. Sarah, and at times Hannah may abuse him, torture him, even kill him from time to time, but he endures and not only serves them but works to his best ablity to make sure they are well. Sarah keeps bringing him back because of this and her goddess mode begins to love him just as much as her 'mortal' form. Basically Sarah's 'Kenny' morallity pet.
Hannah though like her mother will never be as abusive to her father, and will help him more then hurt him. She looks in wonder how in some ways a snack size piece of meat can be so noble and driven to put her and her mother first. That and he brought her into this universe as well. This and her interactions with other goddesses with empathy toward mortals affects her as she moves toward them faster and with greater effect then her mother does.

Author's Response: Well, to be honest, if we already are spending our personal two cents, I find it surprising how many of PoGU's reviews call for several Goddesses to form a little self-help clique, that use each other and mortal 'morality pets' to establish some Order of Good. Don't get me wrong, there is something nice about growing a character for so long they reach a different alignment, but why does it have to be in this strictly therapeutical way of "good goddess teaches bad goddess how to be good, while mortal love interest (or similar) helps turn them around"? I mean in Sarah's case this was suggested with almost any mortal she interacted with, ranging from Rich to Jeff. Like JFT and I said a couple of times already now, the shift to goodness is coming (with the time dilation event of chapter 14 that was even sped up slightly for Sarah), but I'd like it to be more gradual, naturalistic, and most importantly of their own volition. Still, thank you for sharing your two cents, and I hope you didn't mind me sharing mine.

Plus, I don't think either JFT nor I know what these two are like, personality-wise I mean, and so I don't think we could write them believably. Still, thank you for your suggestion.

Arianna is looking rough, but in enduring what she agreed to endure she is moving Sarah and Cessi toward her and Thiea is providing the extra push.
Fi and Alyassa maybe there own worst enemies, they keep pushing and pushing, Sarah gave Fi the torument to "calm' her, it having been a fiasico doubt that Fionna will 'calm' down.
Victoria is out and about, still looking for Thiea, wonder if she feels some compassion for Arianna, she was around her and considering how she gets her powers and how it makes her feel, I would gather she does.
Cessi is 'worried' about Victoria and teleported to Sarah, gather there will be some chapters about that.
Wonder if Simon's and Jacob's divine protection lasted...

Hello again, thank you for your continuously high-star'd reviews. They're quite nice to have! Now, about your concerns; I'm sure Arianna's torment won't last for much longer. If my estimates about the in-story time progression aren't off she only has about a week or so left of her deal. As for Fiona and Alyssa, yes, they are letting themselves spiral out of control, which garners them the negative attention from the others, but I'm sure in their minds, instead of enemies they see each other more as a terrifying power couple. We should probably address the romantic aspect of that in a future chapter - letting them bond over their blood lust (although that might not really be something you'd like.)
As for Victoria, we'll explore her point of view in what is hopefully the next chapter - I'm sure she'll express her compassion for Arianna; with her faint divine powers, she should be able to feel the good nature of the leashed girl. And yep, Cassi went off to talk with Sarah about Victoria; something we've addressed in Chapter 14. It didn't quite come to a conclusion there, but I'm sure with the planned story developments that should get back to them really quickly.
As for Simon and Jacob, I'm afraid they're probably both pretty much dead. Sarah's shield dissipated, leaving them at the mercy of this burning world, which took its toll at the end, when Faith tossed them into the lava... And given how much time had passed for Sarah, she had probably already forgotten about both of them.

Intresting 'slice' of life chapter, unfortantly Sarah's minions are just a cruel as the rest. Arianna's angels did war her. Theia needs to either calm down or not ask questions she already knows the answer to, she's a goddess of course those she's judging are going to respond to her :-)
Would like more chapters with larger effects occuring, want Arianna and Theia froming an intelligent Good axis which hopefully snares into it over time Cessi, Sarah and Ella, leaving Finona and Aylassa weak and pherphial to the universe, maybe the five being gently overwhelmed by either Arianna and or Theia, or maybe a non-fatal highlander elimation in which there can only be ONE in which as Theia and Arianna through their goodness, kindness and compassion gain more and more worshipers and power until they subsume the goddesses power into theirs. Prehaps leading to them be sufficently power to challange any power. Though their foes are either given mortal lives (if truly evil), or become their servants over time. Just spit balling.

Don't worry there are more chapters coming, both me and Theia have been busy recently so posting has been slow. There are a handful of chapters already written and have been for a while just waiting for things to slide into place. The gentler sides will return soon, just need to resolve a few plot lines that I've started first. Hopefully soon there will be more Arianna. There are also plans to smooth Sarah a little more.

Like the concept of a Tourney, also like the concept of some one good with their own powers sees something in Sarah to give their allegence to (two reviewers ago) (or Cessi, maybe even Ella), something that engages them in mortal lives beyond them being 'snacks' something that ties them to their 'champions' and the morals and ethics of those champions slowly rekindling their humanity. Leaving at least the neutral and good goddesses with a lust beyond physical gratification. a lust to see humanity grow and prosper, maybe as with Ella's artist to create something beautiful, maybe to create something beautiful for those that 'serve' them. Slowly civilizing and making more moral those who were amoral or indifferent. Inch by inch having them care more and more for those they 'rule'.

Hey Bigdawg! Thanks for the ideas! The Searing chapter has already been written at this point, While i was able to work in the feedback from the previous review unfortunately Theia has already done her edits so I'm reluctant to make further changes!

I feel I should also mention reading all the reviews desiring a gentle outcome I would say while I'm trying to bring the nice women more into the spotlight, I've been a primarily cruel gts author for..all of my previous stories, so that's my comfort zone as an author. Theia is much better at gentle stuff.

Alyassa seems remarkably petty and in her way pathetic. All that power and she uses it for crude pleasure.
The tourment should be intresting, would like to see some 'non-aligned' players. Maybe a Paladin or Ranger(Good can serve Neutral dieties) who Sarah finds attrative, and would like to litterally rock his world. Only to have them sware featly to the goddess of life, and then let her know that with their loyality comes an oath of chasty. That a 'lesser' being show such loyality without reward shocks her, as much as she wants to 'indulge' with him (and protect him while doing so). That he denies himself for her makes her couirous and that he encourages he to play (while keeping alive and not torturing) with her tributes, that his love for her is pure and can only be experessed by service to her and to life (he doesn't kill his foes and heals them).
Sarah though touched is increasingly 'physically' furstrated as his every act on her behalf makes her want to act on "him'. She begins to pleasure herself with his image in her mind, having a 'devine effect' on him. As she moves closer to his vaules, the more she wants him in all possible ways with her...

I have been able to work some your feedback into the tournament chapter although it maybe worth noting I am primarily writing the more petty selfish power abusing goddesses, Theia is much better at gentle, the tournament arc is mine however and there is a fair amount of petty coming.
Trying to bring the nicer goddesses forward, once Arianna is free of Fiona there should be more with her as a focus.

Like Victoria's tale, was a nice little romp with in the universe, didn't like how she tortured those she shrunk even if it was for the right reasons and that she regreted it. Think Theia would like to to explain why she used the power she had like that, and why it was ok for people to suffer. After those questions Theia being who she is would be forgiving and likely find a way to give her those powers without having to torture others to maintain them. However as a penance she would likely have Victoria work tirelessly to bring peace and prosperity to her worlds. Something I believe Victoria would relish and would actaully look forward to redeeming herself from her sins (even if they were for all the right reasons). Thank you!

Usually the Goddesses passively power the abilities of the Priestesses, but since Theia isn't aware of the "Priestess" she inadvertantly created, Tori has to find other ways to power herself. It pains her that she has to syphon away the remaining time of mortals (similar to how Theia absorbs the spent time of dead mortals), but in her mind there's no other way to "rescue" her Goddess.
Either way, don't worry; if nothing changes in our plans, Tori will meet the Goddess of Destiny soon™ ... in about 3 to 4 chapters, I'd wager.

Like how Theia kept her 'mortal' limits in the last chapter, that has to have an impact on her worshipers. Her devotion to them will hopefully spur their devotion to her. goddess and worshiper bringing the other to ever greater hieghts. Maybe her followers connect with her using the lake of blood she left behind, maybe they alter the shrine to just three goddesses (making Sarah the most pronounced and grand to get away with it, but honoring in their view Theia the most, and having likely heard how Arianna is like her in character giving her some props two while definitely either getting rid of Alyassa or mock her in a clever way the rest what they can get away with).
Having read what Arianna may go through, prehaps she hears what Theia was willing to endure and endures what she thought was unedurable for the sake of her people. Then seeks out Theia and one thing leads to the other and they share some goddess level joy(Arianna) and techinque(Theia) with the other and thier 'tributes'. They work together, Arianna convince Sarah as goddess of life that more life is good for her, and Theia on Cessi with logic and building. Both use 'arts' to slowly move the goddess of the wild to calmer states and an eye toward befriending her.
good story so far can't wait to see what you to have in store.

Hey there, TitanTheia here; I'm really glad you liked that I kept Theia's mortal limits. I feel having her able to suffer consequences like that allows me to create more compelling moments with her, which would also resonate with the hearts of the mortals around her. I'll definitely address both the blood pool and the human's reverence for Theia in future chapters. (Although I should point out, that Theia would probably disapprove of them dismantling the shrines to the others - she respects her sisters too much to allow that.)
As for letting Arianna and Theia couple up; I'm sure they'll bond over their shared love for mortals, and maybe edge towards intimacy over it, but I can't promise that they'll actually "get together". (At least not according to the current plan we have.) Though I'm confident they'll still try to work with the others to create a kinder universe all around ... well, as soon as Fiona is done with her.
On a final note, I noticed that while going through your past reviews that you don't give out full 5 star reviews very often, so I (and JustForTribute) are sincerely grateful for the amount of stars you've given us! Thank you!

The Pantheon is a 2/3/2 split at moment between Good/Neutral/Evil although there are plans underway to shift the balance around! It may be a few chapters before the "more loving" universe shines through but have faith in TitanTheia's writing :)

With Charlotte being a cruel B most of her storyline, would like a bit of a pendulum swing. With Arianna and Theia with their simular views becoming a base of power. That each begin to find ways to augment their powers beyond their fellow goddess without the need of killing tributes (Theia though tech and devolpment of her followers, plus maybe converting some the souls of the 'grey' into more power for herself, her priestesses and her followers, some formula that she as an engineer has figured out on just how many souls need to be returned to maintain the universe and she uses a couple of the more dark gray souls to strength herself, her followers and her allies so that many more may live, live better and prehaps end the tribute system). Arianna basically 'Power of Love', that she gains power the stronger Love is and has Theia 'help' there.
Later Sarah realizes they are a threat to her postion as Matarich confronts them and over time is as 'goddess of life' brought on their side, and with Ella's slow taming as she becomes more and more sane she aligns with them as well as maybe Cassi. Basically they move further and further from the cruelty they particed and what a functional, happy and prosperous universe that they serve rather one is tormented and twisted like the one under Charlotte that only served her.Long term Arianna's power of love absorbs the other good powers, and she put down the remaining goddesses and gains the power to create entire universes and in time confronts the 'transcendent' Charlotte and kicks her butt with 'love'.
Thats what I would like to see. Thank you.

TitanTheia and I were already outlining a bunch of future stories that all leaned towards a gentler universe, but with your suggestion in mind, we re-arranged a bit to give Arianna a more prominent role in the future. Also TitanTheia liked your idea of empowering Theia through human innovation. She'll be sure to include that in future chapters.
I will probably be the one splicing in the cruel GTS stuff as thats always been my thing but Theia writes wonderful gentle goddess and with her tempering the edge I think the story has a bright future, This review has moved Arianna up in my personal writing priorities although I warn you I have a pretty dark plot for her to overcome in the near future!

Well, this is off to an interesting start. It's certainly interesting to see how the world works with these goddesses and priestesses. I'm looking forward to learning more about it, and seeing the contrast between the personalities of the various goddesses. One question I had was this, where do the mortals go when they die? Do they all go to Alyssa? Are they spread out among whomever they worshipped the most? I'm just curious how that works. Looking forward to future chapters, and great job on what you've done so far!

Looking like its a great start to a hopefully long new series.
I enjoyed reading about how each goddess tried to get the priestesses to join them by changing them a different way. I hope that these changes to the priestesses change what kind of power they each have like say Sarahs fairy priestesses have the ability to shrink other living things just like how fairys are pranskters pretending to be weak and small untill someone tries to take advantage of their size and shrinks them.
Maybe also have a section showing each of the goddess setting up their old room or maybe take a world to be their seat of power and changing them to reflect their new status such as Sarah making a nature like area/world but it should be whatever really matchs their personality and roles.
Also, I can see Fiona setting up something like a battle royal style punishment for people who took the Goddesss name in vain. Where people fight to the death on different parts of her body with different weapons spread throught the area and only the last person standing having a chance at redemption or not depending on her mood. The shrinking circle from those style of games could be her circling her finger around the area or it could be her priestesses walking around the area crushing any people still in the removed play area.
Another idea that came to mind is Arianna stoping natural disasters to save people praying for help with some body part or bodily function. Such as stoping a tusnami by steping in front of it . Spitting/ drooling on an erupting volcano to put it out. Drawing a line between two countires with her finger to create a chasm to prevent a war. And many other causal display of power that can cause awe and worship in the people she saves.
Can't wait to see where the series goes.

The new priestesses also have there array of gifts to be exploited as each story unfolds!
Fiona wouldnt need an excuse to setup a Battle Royale! I love that idea though! I've etched it into the list of possibilities depending on how things emerge! It has some possibilities!
Arianna makes an appearance in the new Chapter, I'm setting her up as quite possibly the only gentle giantess I've ever written, I would love to know how you feel that works after you read it!
