I was very curious to see what it would be like inside of the machine. I love how it's its own awful, ignorant society inside, but it has to be so stark, given the enormity of the task. one has to wonder what our tiny narrator will experience as an outsider, knowing the truth, and being compelled to act along. I really loved the scenes with her careless roommate getting her to the machine. action on this scale can be hard to craft, and you've presented it all so cleanly you've written a really wonderful and powerful scenario here. that time dilation concept still really tickles the mind.

Again Oops, I love it. Fantastic. I can't wait to see what Val does next, I was a little sad there was very little of her point of view in all this but I know you got something up your sleeve. I can't wait for the next chapter, you always have me chomping at the bit for more, I don't know how I will last 24 hours.

Thanks! That entire sequence takes place between Val inserting the box, getting settled, and hitting the button. She'll be back!
