Excellent character building. Damn, Julie sounds like a real jewel! It's hard to image her with big feet though, ...ha! I'll bet that she has great legs though, huh? ;`)
The way that you slowly reveal, and casually move from day to day, it works very well - perfectly paced. I felt good reading this and it really flows well, even with the constant subliminal messages -'Flashing a cool picture of Julie's smooth Legs!' ;~)
Shawn must be a real Dick! Who would do that to her, ...seems like women fall for those types though, and don't realize what they've gotten themselves into until it's too late.
Nice work Man, I can't wait for the next chapter!

This chapter is longer and I felt it might be dragging along. I'm really happy you felt good reading it. I'll give you a little spoiler: Shawn shows up again, but it's much later.
BTW, I can't wait to put up the next chapter either. I might do this sooner than later. It does pick up.
