Any progress on this story? I'll give you this, you've got the hang of cliffhangers based on the stories here that have gone silent.

It's hard to get a bead on Tiffany's size. She can somehow take out the support of the building yet the top isn't falling off and she can see outside the structure despite seemingly being stuck in a "U" position.

But even so it's just her butt that's there while her legs and arms are on the "lobby" floor but given her size they should be somewhere else. And still humans shouldn't seem that small to her yet to the point where even speakers are squeaks she can barely make out. I suppose that whatever is causing this is messing with her senses anyway.

She has great control of her muscles if those people weren't killed despite hiding in her special place. The imageries you put forth are erotic and sharp. But since this is a journal and she's just writing this down all casual either she's come to accept things fully or there is some disconnect. Even if she's going as a stream of conscious, she is spending a lot of time on her sexcapades. I would think she would let that out slowly as time went by, revealing her debauchery to the "reader" of her diary as time goes by. Unless she goes from trying to mitigate things like how you have her not just collapsing the building immediately to rampaging for fun to show her loss of humanity.

And I wonder how she's writing this down and why people would put up with allocating resources to someone who is going to ruin the economy even more than it already is in shambles simply by existing. You can't exactly force someone like this Tiffany to become a weapon of war unless they grab her family and hold them hostage or threaten to cancel her favorite program.

Author's Response: Physicists and architects will be offended by this story. I sacrificed "realism" for freedom, I wouldn't be able to write the scenes I wrote had I followed real world physics and it goes the same for social and political aspects in the story. It wouldn't be entertaining if Tiffany suffocated under her own weight halfway through the first chapter or was nuked by the military. I'm not saying your wrong in that criticism but it is a "can't have my cake and eat it too situation". I also made Tiffany's size rather vague because I wanted some room to play with visuals and scenes and avoid using hard numbers to show her size, "the show, don't tell" rule. As for the people inside her, I can't decide on the level of carnage and death in the initial chapters because if enough people don't die, it seems "unrealistic/too perfectly coincidental" yet kill too many and it feels like Tiffany has already become a monster from the start rather than being a giant woman that eventually becomes a monster. And I know no woman in their right minds writes about themselves the way she writes about herself, but this is a fetish story after all and It felt interesting to give myself the "stream-of-consciousness" card so that I could essentially write without second thought. I haven't decided how she is writing this down. Either pen and paper grow or she shrinks. I'm leaning more towards as middle ground. Just be aware that with stream of consciousness writing, I will occasionally write myself into a corner. In these times, it's only my hope that the writing, style and story is enough to suspend enough disbelief that though it may be obvious, you won't particularly care.

I like what you're trying to do and if you want to discuss the story arc with someone privately, you could drop me an email. I have helped other authors with their stories in the past and still do so when needed.

I second everything Nostory said.

This is one of those stories I hope to see updated as soon as possible, its so good. The description is so on point, the idea itself so engaging, I want to see it through to the end.

If you want suggestions on how she goes about deciding whether to be a gentle or evil giantess, you should bring in her friends, family. How the government and general population treat her will be crucial.

Most importantly, how she herself reacts to all of this will determine which direction she'll go into.

Then there's the fact if you want something more believable, don't jump into the whole 'I'm big and being big makes me horny and evil' mode some authors have when it comes to their stories.

Author's Response:

I have intended to write the story similarly to what you suggested, but it is in the details that I find myself getting hung up on. It will be a conflict borne of our main character's need for food, shelter, clothing, companionship, entertainment and purpose while she faces a world that will want to deny her such things, a world that, in their fear of her, will try to manipulate her, force her to become a weapon of war perhaps, restrict her freedoms and try to strip her of humanity. I feel like it will somehow become some weird pornographic version of the novel "Frankenstein", going off of the message that society deserves the monsters it creates, while repurposing that into a giantess fetishist theme. I will need to discuss the story arc with someone, but I am unsure of how to have a conversation about the progression of events without "spoiling" it to the audience or having to attend a writing feedback group who I am sure will respond poorly to a story such as this.
