That's the trap with cruelty.  If you try to stop, even for a moment, you remember everything you've done before, and rather than fully reconcile your actions it's easier just to double-down on the next atrocity.

Interesting notion and story development. I think I concur with JDO's idea of being charming enough to survive in the clutches of a malevolent giantess though it may be more of a curse in the long run. Melissa is the embodiment of savagery with a misdirected moral compass. I also like your writing style. Overall a good read thus far. :)

Thanks for reading! Melissa certainly is a misguided individual, someone who tries to justify their sadism. Wyatt is just lucky to be alive…for now.
