Really liked the chapter and build up for hopefully whats coming. Yay, you're back! I already thought the Huntress had eaten you ;) But I never gave up hope.
As for the chapter, it came out really well. Good writing and good action. Keep it up and for heaven's sake, don't let your gf catch you again, she might get suspicious about your 'research papers'...

Thanks for holding in there! Sorry it took so long, and yes I'll make sure my gf doesn't catch me.
