I loved the original story. It was great, and this one, still has the same feel of the old one, but still feels like a new experience. I absolutely love it.

Author's Response:

I am glad you like it but I know I can be better so I decided to rewrite it to remove any inconsistencies and also to improve the quality of writing.

So far it still retains a lot of the old story but after a while, you'll notice the differences. I'd say this is where the remake starts to deviate from the original, I think you'll like it.

It's odd how excited Jack was to escape...But really? What did he need to escape from? Jessica didn't appear to be holding him captive. Although, I suppose I'd be nervous if I landed in the care of a massive woman like that.

Who knows what she might do if I ask her for help to leave? Would she get offended? Never know...Maybe Jack is a little smart not to leave anything to chance like this.

Still, I can't help but feel bad for poor Jess, it's really starting to look like their relationship isn't gonna be salvageable, even though I KNOW how things are supposed to end up. Good stuff, Nostory, I was begining to wonder when you'd update this (although I'm one to talk, it's been months since I updated my story XP).

Author's Response:

Let me see if I can explain it to you. Jessica has never held him captive or treated him like a prisoner, her last words to him before she went to bed made it clear she sees him as a person and not a toy. However for him to be constantly afraid of her isn't irrational, she could easily make him her slave if she chose to.

Jack is assuming a lot of Jessica here, she might get offended but she does know he can't stay forever so at some point him leaving will happen, she doesn't seem like the type who will keep him from his family.

I feel bad for Jess as well, she has treated Jack very well so far and well...you think you know but the path to it might surprise you. Thanks for the review and when you do update your story, I'll definitely read it!
