This was a really sweet read. I'm hoping certain heartbreaking aspects of it aren't real for you as the author, as I know artists tend to create based on personal experience. Beyond a few misspelled words and misused words, it was a very good read. I'm going to read the sequel.

Author's Response:

Nah, I just wanted to write a good story for my first time on the site so I added in some emotional aspects to give it more depth. The spelling mistakes couldn't be helped. Fun Fact: Each chapter was written in one sitting. Not the smartest idea, when it comes to quality, but I was just eager. Especially when others started giving good reviews.

Amazing!! Simply amazing.

My first impression when I began reading this story provided that I should expect a relatively cliche' albeit entertaining tale. However, the characters I percieved as having been set on a predictable development track completely obliterated the railing. The setting that I presumed to have been inexplicably tossed together for no other reason than to provide a convenient stage for the plot developed a history of its own almost as if it were a developing character as well.

From these excellent story elements grew some of the most deep, dynamic, mature, and even philosophical life lessons that I've seen offered in literature. Not even just once, but multiple times this story has expressed impactful gems of this quality.

It's a simple matter to give charaters a reason to be a fool and to let them stay a fool, but you've outdone yourself here. From the logical reasoning and thought processes we followed our protagonist through, to the experience, foresight, and wisdom that the adults in the story had to offer-- this story has been a fantastic reading experience. So with that, I thank you for sharing!

Author's Response:

Damn, never expected my story to have been this enjoyable. I'm extremely grateful that you liked it.

The story actually started out thrown together but I wanted to build on it more as I went along. I love development, whether plot or character, and I hate when not enough is explained, so I tried my best to cover any questions that might be raised.

Also I don't like stories where people do things for no reason. It makes a two dimensional character. I needed Amy to be more than a simple bully who gets what's coming to her. She needed to be real.

If you haven't already seen I'm currently writing a sequel to this story. I pray to God I don't fuck it up as most sequels do. But, even if you don't read it or like it, I want you to know how much your words mean to me. It literally makes me smile to read about how someone has actually enjoyed something I loved working on. Thank you.

I have fianlly gotten around to reading this story. I loved it. You have a talent for creating characters I care about. I hope you write more giantess stories in the future.

I half expected Amy to say: "Let me take care of that." And rip the stump out of the ground before they left. Ah, well. Digging builds muscle.

Wow...Katelyn is just completely adorable. You've got the cute little sister dynamic in the bag.

And the relationship begins! But the story ends. :( Damn. I guess I'll just have to imagine the rest. Vividly imagine it, that is. Wow...that's so lame.

Actually, Superman _did_ wind up beating Thor in a fight! In the now-classic JLA vs. AVENGERS crossover mini-series from DC and Marvel (about fifteen years ago, more or less). It was a hard-won victory for Superman, true! But, a victory none-the-less.*

As to the rest of this story? What can I say? I love happy endings, in general. And, this one--where the misunderstood gentle giantess finally makes a good friend (and a potential boyfriend, at that)--was not only the happiest ending I've read about, on this website, in a long time. It is an instantly classic one! So thank you for sharing this with us...and bravo!!

*Probably because he used heat vision to make Thor drop his hammer rather than throw it.

The story's over?! Aww... I loved this story! This sucks!! This was one of the greatest stories I've read on the site. Anyway, thank you for writing this for so long. And I hope you eventually return to these characters soon. For me, it doesn't seem like their adventure is completely done yet.

Katelyn spelled "too" as "to", but she has a learning disability so I'll let it pass. That means that you finally get your full five star rating. Take care; I hope you write something new soon. You've inspired me to finish writing my own story. If I ever have the time to finish it, please check it out.

I will admit that I am disappointed it's over, but it did have a conflict and a resolution and it was kinda sweet that the giantess kinda had to deal with more internal problems than anything else in her life.

It was truly an excellent short story. Especially for a first try. Continue writing my friend your good at it and I really want to see what you can make now that you have expirence under your belt.

Sweet, sounds like Amy finally gets to fit in. If you do a sequel and honestly you should, I'll be first in line to read it.

Thank you so much for the amazing story. This is for sure one of the best stories on the entire site.

Can't wait to see the sequel once you get that sorted out.

You should definitely keep writing on this site.
