So this is where we will see the evil mind controlled Jessica eh? I guess they don't quite remember the events of the last arc but they haven't quite forgotten either, those memories still somewhere inside foggy as ever.

Yep they're still there but buried deep inside of them. Just so that the last arc wasn't a waste of time and that Dawn's work might have avoided her darker future.
