Oh boy, with the introduction of a healing factor. I'm concerned, and interested in the level of new trauma Katelyn is about to introduce to poor Jake.

With the healing factor being official, my image of a punished Jake has gone to dust. Though there is still the mental scars that he will acquire from Katelyn.
Hope it doesn't go too south for him because I'm not ready to read what you have in store for this great story!

This is a great chapter and the cliffhanger at the end is tantalizing. I just feel for Josephine when she returns to where she left Jake on the couch. There is a lot of things that will be going through her mind while she tries to figure out where Jake has gone. Until she realizes that Katelyn has him she will assume he ran off somewhere.
During this time Jake had better find a nice place to hide or he will endure more trauma living under the overbearing Katelyn.
I am anticipating and intriguing experience our little Jake will encounter. He will learn just how resilient he truly is.
When and or if he is ever reintroduced to Josephine the trauma he would have endured at the hands of Katelyn will be truly epic.
I am looking forward to the next chapter thank you for writing this.
