Hope you're still planning on continuing this story? This chapter had some good stuff, just a couple suggestions. For one, make sure you don't rush things to get to the next plot point--your pacing has been deliberate so far. Also, along the same lines, make sure you "show don't tell." You do action scenes well, so don't shy away from being descriptive. Hope that wasn't too preachy, but comments should be helpful, right? That being said, this story is great! Please continue!
