Sorry this is my first story ever.  

Prologue

We enter this story just after the events of the original Honey I Shrunk the Kids movie.  The kids have been restored to their normal size and the Thompson and Salinski families have feasted on their giant turkey.  But past the euphoria of the kids being saved from their plight of being shrunk down to the ¼ inch tall, trouble is brewing for Wayne.  Diane is still unsatisfied with their marriage, and Wayne weighs the risk of the size changing technology falling into the wrong hands.

Looking for a gift for his brother, Kel stumbles onto a strange device that claims to make one's dreams come true.  There is only one problem... it takes two to operate.  With his choices limited, he seeks out his old friend, Aubrey, to help in the hopes of reaching their other friend that shut himself off from the world.  However, what they accomplish instead will have bigger ramifications for their old, fractured friend group than either could have imagined.

Inheriting the Earth after humans inexplicably shrunk, the new species of anthropomorphic animals were quick to establish a new society build on the infrastructure of the old.  However, the world isn't exactly safe for those that can so easily vanish and humans have been struggling to survive.
