Summary:

Wow. I can't believe it's done. Mad respect for sticking with it through all the years just like you promised.


I'm like how at the end there were no consequences for the girls. It really fit the theme of them being unstoppable deities to the micros throughout the story, in my opinion.


That last "scene" leaves me with questions, but I'm hyped at the thought of making a universe of these stories.


I can't applaud you enough for writing Grove View and sharing it with us. It truly is one of the best ones out there if you ask me, and I'm glad we can continue to look forward to more to come.

It was hard sticking with it for sure for that long.  Thank you for your support for so long in response.  I hope I can answer those questions soon with a few of the other things I'm working on. 

Yeah, the no consequences for the girls, in my opinion, had to happen.  They were too powerful and spoiled, unless I broke reality again shrunk them, or sent them to a random city, but I just don't think that fits the theme of what these girls did or the rest of the story.  The micros were made to suffer, not the girls, that was the whole point, right? lol

Sorry about that. But please, don’t see yourself as a whiner. I can learn from these things. About your question, this story aint got no sprung out main character. Its not meant to have a heavy narrative or something. Just fun to write about anything that pops up. So if you have suggestions let me know. And yes, Holli will return. Solid last few chapters! You got me real hyped for the next ones with Ginny and her "whatever you want" guidance, kind of hoping she goes overboard lol, but I guess we'll see what she has in mind.. and of course I'm still wondering what Rasha will really be like once we get to know her.

I really like direction Kristen and Ginny have been going, regarding the micros/and nanos less and less as the story goes on; it's been rewarding seeing them go from cautious and careful and even caring for them to seeing them as insignificant lesser beings that exist just for their own wants and needs. They've tried to be kind and considerate, but have been let down and disrespected too many times to let it slide.

Side note, I like the parts of your tiny POV sections thar highlight the random individuals amd families across the land that have nothing to do with the politics and their whole situation yet are just the same forced to helplessly endure and try to ignore the acts going on above and around them.


Once again, looking forward to seeing the return of "Giant Monster Ginny" and what she has in store. Keep it up!! (And Merry Christmas!)

Thank you!  Yeah, Ginny could absolutely go overboard, I'm just not sure how much yet lol.  Rasha will come and go I think until I think I can find a better way to introduce her to the world.  I think there's something really fun that I write with her, she has the potential to be a unique character. 

I think that was always to be the natural progression with Kristen especially, just more and more uncaring as they get more and more used to their absolute power without being challenged.  Personal challenges are really the only thing now that can sway someone one way or the other. 

Noted, I'll consider more random tiny POVs across the cities and country just as little fun side stories.

Love the scenario with scientists and micros, and I think the way you described Matylda's thought process on the micros being powerless to their whims (and by her willingness to join in) was excellent.

At the start of the third chapter, when it said "When holding the city in the grasps of their hands and french kissing the townspeople farewell got a bit old", did you mean that they were literally making out with the city? It was a little unclear to me.

And do you have any plans to come back to this story and add any more chapters? I think it is a fantastic start with great potential.

Thank you for reading! The part about french kissing the tinies was just me trying to be poetic about the girls putting people in their mouths, it's not meant to be taken literally. The story is mostly finished, albeit I might add a chapter describing the experience from the point of view of the shrunken people in the future. I have lots of ideas that I'd like to develop and things I'm working on, so I tend not to stay in one place when it comes to creating stuff.

Relatively short and not-so-sweet, but another good one to add to your library nonetheless.

I think maybe one of your biggest strengths as a writer is how "realistic" and believable you write your stories, from how your characters act and think to the way that the world would react to something like this. At least as much as it can be done in stories of this nature. The series of emotions and thoughts going through Maggie's head, the various survivors' accounts of the disaster, the mother defending her character, the people seeking to profit from turning it into an inaccurate movie and the ones selling merchandise, the attitudes of the students that were more interested in lunch than this world-changing historical event. All the stuff like this really brings it all together and makes it stand above the rest to me (this comment applies to the Incident stories, too). Really well done. The main chapters were good, don't get me wrong, but I may have enjoyed the epilogue the most.

I enjoyed the little surprise at the end. And I liked the bit with Zach's theory on why it all happened. I'm not sure if it was intentional but personally his answer is enough to satisfy my headcanon regarding the same topic in this story as well as your others.

The "playful-and-destructive untouchable goddess who is actually a regular person" theme that I consider to be kind of a signature thing of yours is the best genre there is (my opinion of course, lol), but it's nice to see you venture into other territory while still maintaining the writing quality you're known for.

While maybe I'm in the minority when I say that her size in relation to the rest of the world is actually "too small" for my tastes, haha, you continue again to keep me drawn to the stories you're creating. Real good job, my guy 👍

Thank you so much for saying that.  One of my biggest goals when I'm writing is that I want at least some relevancy to my characters or the world having an element of being realistic.  Or rather, as realistic you can have in this type of fantasy.  I want to write how I think someone would actually react.  That's why writing this ending was one of my favorite things because I think this is how a "disaster" like this would actually be remembered, much like in the real world. 

Yeah, Zach's take on it largely represents my own thought of "shit happens" and that's just how it is.

My favorite type of character to write is that regular person gets a bunch of power.  I would really hope it would kind of end up as my signature in a way, but I know so many other writers who are doing it well too!  I appreciate the faith in me to keep it up.
