Wow, that was both scary and awesome to see Shannon lash out to her mother. I wonder if this will permanently change something between them or that her mother will fall back to her old ways and try to take it out on Alejandro.

Also a bit sad to see how worried Lindsey is about her brother and that she is so sad that she has never been bonded.

I honestly did not expect Shannon to pull such a 180 in behaviour after "personal opinion" and was delighted to see that the story ended so well.

It seems that the minor campaign is really taking of and both Shannon and Alejandro are changing this minor/MAJOR world for the better.

It was also nice that you included the part where Lindsey bonded with Alejandro, for Lindseys sake ;)

Now Maxine can use as a battle threat that if her enemy hurt Maxine, her gigantic family will come and tear them apart. Seriously, how does such a gigantic family blend in? And how do they even get enough food? Maxine alone eats an entire farm worth of food a year!

And poor Charles. At least Maxine's sisters seem a bit nicer to him than than her brother. And also, why does Maxine think that having a baby and being a knight do not go together? Having something to live for can make her even stronger in battle and that kid will at least have an awesome set of aunt's to help take care of her.

Yeah, Imagine somebody owing a favour to Tucker and saying something like I'll take your family to dinner and then imagine the face of that person when his gigantic girls walk in. Must be epic ;)

As for this chapter, it seams that Maxine is really jealous of Charles getting attention.

Is she sure that she doesn't like like Charles?

It's also nice that Charles is able to help Maxine's family with bookkeeping. I really hope he can pull of something amazing so he will be a bit less marginalized and finally can can hahave his moment.

And I still don't understand why Maxine thinks any of her brother's have a fighting chance against her. Tucker could pull of fights, but he didn't have to a steamroller called Maxine!

How nice of Maxine to give him a choice. If I was Maxine, I would postpone that choice a bit more to make sure he wouldn't possibly be alone in a difficult moment like this. And knowing the "middle ages," living near Maxine probably still is one of the safest places on Earth.
