Interesting. There are so many possibilities. I don't want the guess all of them. The story is still running. But what is already clear is the different motives of the hostage takers. Alma and the two sisters and Roger aren't on the same page. Where the two sisters are so for the cause(at least the older one), Alma doesn't care about that. Many possible conflicts between them. So much characters in this stories. :)

I hope they all survive and they are made smaller than Betás and put in hamstercages so Beta children can play with them. Or give them to the fanatic Jenna.

This feels like Die Hard mixed with that subway car hijack movie of 1974.

Author's Response:

You're right that not all the hostage takers have the same motivations, and that divide will become more important as the story goes on. Thanks for reviewing. Die Hard and Taking of Pelham certainly aren't bad comparisons.

Even if the Omegas can be arrogant and annoying, they are better than every government we have on our earth. I just can't see it from those type of Alpha point of view. Those people are stupid beyond belief. They murder and abuse children, with the excuse that they are 3 or 2 inch tall. It's easy to kill and abuse a beta if you are an Alpha. It takes no skill.

Author's Response:

They're actually not murdering them on the basis that they're so small, but more that Aegis is forcing them to recognize them as equal citizens. Which, after generations upon generations of being able to do whatever they want to Betas and not viewing them as anywhere close to equal, is a hard pill to swallow. It may seem that these Alphas are in over their heads by abusing children like this, but they do have a plan to get out of it.

@Carycomic. That Abby was a Beta was already explained in a other Omega story. I think al Omegas were Betas.

Author's Response:

You're right that Abby used to be a Beta, though not all Omegas started out as Betas.

The view through Ben's eyes is more interesting. He has a lot more hardships to endure. His survival tale is more exciting.

Author's Response:

Thanks. There are a lot of characters in this story, but it's really meant to be through Ben's eyes most of all.

Nice. Love the Omega stories. That world is interesting. This adventure is very exciting. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response:

Thanks!

but to have to stand by and watch in the unpunished aftermath of her best friend’s house being attacked by an Omega all to win back some Beta scum’s furniture… well, that was just about all the convincing Alice needed to learn she had been on the wrong side.

Interesting, from Omega Touch. :)

I wonder If Alexandra and Bridget will make appearences.

Funny how those Alphas think. They complain about how Omegas are treating them, but at the same time they find it perfectly normal to do much worse against Betas.

I like the pacing of this story. And the suggestion that Kayla will maybe at some point make an appearance is exciting.

Author's Response:

We won't necessarily be seeing Lexi and Bridget in this story, but I do intend to bring them back someday. And the Alphas are just hardwired to think that way.

As expected, betrayal, because of different views. Gail is not the smartest, but Halle's overal plan is delusional. Except for Alma(the true psycopath), those others never had to deal with Omegas dishing out punishment to them. These idiots accept for Alma haven't the slightest clue in what sort of trouble they are. They won't last one session with an Omega before they break.

Author's Response:

Halle's aware of the stakes (though not all of them), though she does have an end goal here.

Let's see what Melody is up to and why Abby is so confident. I hope it results in those two alpha's shrinking to Beta Size. ;) Love it how Melody is stronger than Claire.

Author's Response:

You'll see an answer to at least one of those questions in the coming chapters. Melody doesn't often show off her full strength, but when she does, it's pretty obvious.

This is a fun. Gail is death. Sonja is going to get it afterwards and Alma hopefully too. Those other Alpha's too. Jenna should do the punishing. ;)

Good pacing.

Thanks for reviewing.

Very enjoyable story like most Omega stories. Hope to see more of them. This one left us with much questions.

Author's Response:

Thanks very much for your responses on this one.

Many effort put into this story to exlore the feelings of the characters in size changing situations.
If been tricked by too many writers who make a set up of 5 chapters that is very good, only to turn the next chapters into very unrealistic stupid development where the characters turn into one dimensional morons.
That is clearly not the case here. This writer has the intention to write a good story with many subtle details. Hope the ending is good too.

@Carycomic. Or she shrunk. ;)

@Carycomic. To many variables to guess what's going on. I hope that it end's satisfying. I hope Dr Hiroshi is smart and testing a subject and not that she is a dumb psycho. I don't find psychos interesting. I hate the type of women like in Stephen King's Misery, it's boring and annoying. I wonder about the receptionist too and why that number was so important to her.
I would never work for that company. I hate being ordered around and brainwashed into being a slave. I would have quit after that treatment on day one of the interview.

Fully agree with Carycomic and The Shrunken Scholar. This story sounds interesting. Slow Size Change is also very interesting. Rebecca's favorite size sounds like baby size.

What's interesting in this is how the characters will develop. What their true character is ultimately like and their behaviour on this journey at every size difference. Are their motives the same, etc.

From now on I will read it when it is completely finished. It's an interesting story and I think with a lot of suprises at the end. What I don't understand is why intelligent people in science can be so weakminded like this woman.
She could find a suitable person who is in to this stuff with no family/friends and she could have the time of her life with a willing partner/subject. Now she created problems for herself. Selfdesctructive personality.

The funny thing is. That if I had no family and friends, I could enjoy this new life with this maybe interesting character. But he has a wife who's worried about him and that changes the situation.

Good slow pace. We can only guess now about all possible outcomes. Carycomic and the Shrunken Scholar theories are interesting. I wonder if the intentions of Rebecca and de doctor are the same.

Summary:

A gentle version of stories from the White Smite universe by makebelieve. Go read those if you haven’t read them yet! They’re probably way better than these stories. :P

I like Sharon. Strong character who doesn't act like a totall jerk because the government says, it's ok.
“They’re smaller than us. So they’re not humans.”. What a stupid way of thinking by the sheep people.

Author's Response: I completely agree with you. Sharon was my favorite character, and just because the people are better doesn't mean they're better. But thanks for showing interest in my story! :P
