Title: Chapter 1: ~Volume I~ Chapter 1 - Prologue
Aw man, I feel bad for Liz, she was too sweet to be done like that.
With that being said, you've really nailed the cruel side of things if you have me feeling that way about a character, especially since I've developed a special hatred for Jacob too. He's irredeemable in my eyes, he's only just met Blaire but he gets angrier at the thought of her getting trafficked than the cook he's been with for a while, what a scumbag. So I hope Blaire at the very least has a satisfying reaction when/if she finds out about his line of work, though I imagine they'll stick together in the grand scheme.
Really excited to see where you take this story, it's a cool concept with lots of room for interesting developments. The organization is cool too, we've only been introduced to two of the members so far, but I hardly believe that's all of them, so I'm looking forward to what other characters come from there too.
And best of all its going to be cruel! Though I am glad you're going to include gentle stuff too, sometimes my brain needs a getaway from all the tragedy ;-;
Author's Response: Yeah Liz really has an unfortunate position... Chapter 4 will showcase that firsthand.
I have 2 specific chapters in mind that will really drive the horror aspect of this story home, I hope. I look forward to getting there.
Jacob is definitely a pos. That's my absolute intention so glad it's working lol. I'll admit there's more to unveil but for now it's time to finally get a peak and the good shit.
