I am a digital artist, occasional author and full-time macrophile. My work depicts giantesses, amazons and shrunken men.

I have been fascinated by the concept of scale since before I can remember; I try to delve into the nature of both gentle and dominant women interacting with much smaller men, with particular emphasis on psychology, realism and size comparison. My long-term story project 'GH-X2' and a great number of my renders explore a universe where regular-height (Beta) and double-height (Alpha) humans co-exist.

I wrote this review under my 'favourites' list a while ago but never got round to posting it here. Frankly, it's crazy a story this good only has 57 reviews...

Homunculus by Cayce.

A roller-coaster of a story that dragged me kicking an screaming along for the ride - I stayed up until 6 'o' clock in the morning to finish it as I couldn't rest until it was over. It's possibly the greatest GTS narrative I've ever read; full of twists and turns, realistic characters, very moving, very clever, incredibly 'real'. Ironically, the size ratio and preoccupation with feet is not 100% to my tastes, but 'Homunculus' was simply so good that it transcended the sexual side of this fetish for me, and forced me to consider the contemplative, philosophical side of what being tiny would be like. My life would genuinely be poorer if I hadn't read this masterpiece.

Summary:

The fantasy spin off to the popular Big Friendly Giantess series. Wannabe knight Tucker Martel undergoes a dangerous quest to find a legendary treasure. His best friend the enormous but gentle giantess Jessica Snape accompanies him. Along the way they discover that their quest is more dangerous and bizarre than they expect.

I started reading this story as I've recently started playing D&D and was in the mood for a fantasy adventure with a giantess twist. My usual predeliction for straight-up erotica wasn't too pressing, and I found myself drawn in by a number of things with this story, but significantly the way in which Jessica and Tucker's personalities were depicted.

Everything about Jessica is admirable, her self-restraint, her humanity, her fragility versus her strength - it makes her feel incredibly real. In addition, her maximum size isn't so enormous that she can't interact with people, and her minimum size is still amazonian; I like the fact that she can't be smaller than 8' tall because it gives her character consistency as being the stronger, taller one without restricting the story to giant-size locations - you've used the magic dress as a narrative device exceptionally well. I really like vulnerability with giantess characters, it's my absolute favourite, as despite all the power, strength and size she merely wants what everyone else seems to have - companionship, love, friends, a sense of belonging.

Tucker is likeable and has traits that match perfectly with Jessica, he is cheeky, resourceful and brave, and his desire to not be reliant on her is something that I can really relate to. The dynamic between the two, especially their differences of opinion, is playful and well-thought-out, and their naivety/innocence around each other sometimes is charming - you can't help but want them to slowly realise their great affection for one another, and that's exactly what you've been doing.

Story-wise, the plot has been brilliant, with interesting locations and characters, and many different scenarios where Jessica's giant size has been used to great effect, or been nullified so that Tucker has been able to prove his worth. You also get a real sense for the world they're in - it was easy for me to get lost for several hours in it as there were no glaring inconsistencies and the characters behaved realistically.

I especially liked the use of conflict or drama to trigger the characters' emotions, when she went off into the desert to let loose some aggression without hurting anyone, leaving Tucker powerless to help, it really got to me. I wanted Tucker to comfort her, but understood he couldn't and there was nothing he could do about it.

That, for me, is one of the elemental aspects of having a giantess 'quirk' - imagining the ramifications of a girl so giant, just having to accept their power, but at the same time wanting to be a part of their life and helping them any way you can. Tucker is a fantastic character from this point of view, you can see how he helps Jessica in ways she truly appreciates, and she has deep affection for him - it feels very equal in some ways.

Fantastic story - please keep going - I'm absolutely in love with it!

Thanks for reading and taking the time to go through such a huge message. I really appreciate this and sadly the series won't last forever. I know how it will end but don't worry there is still plenty more to come.

This story has been a pretty big part of my routine for a long time now, with updates each Wednesday, so I'm very sad to see it wrap up - I will miss it. I'm pleased to see that the story kinda went full circle, and ended back in the everyday goings-on of Morgan - that's a very LOTR kind of ending! It does feel a little bittersweet though, and there is a palpable sense of anticlimax, but I do have some thoughts about it which I'll just blab about briefly.

I did not see the kissing thing coming at all, and I thought it was pretty cute for that to be the solution. I had a few theories which I thought were going to come to fruition: firstly I had a feeling that the bag of money would end up being a bottomless one, a bit like the 'humble' carpenter's cup in the 3rd Indiana Jones movie - it would prove to be a 'you chose wisely' sort of deal. Building on that, I then expected Tucker to have to trade that bag to the robed figure to save Jessica from her shrunken affliction, which he would have done, and they would have gone home with nothing, not because they failed, but because he gave it away for her.

Secondly, I expected Gwen to play a bit more of a part, even as a kind of tragic parable in closing, so her running off was, again, a bit of anticlimax. I thought for sure that she would instead try and wangle her way into getting Tucker to try and help her, and he could have been all smug like 'Bitch plz' and dropped her off at a tavern to turn tricks.

Thirdly, whilst I would have preferred Tucker to have earned some of his Father's respect by a) not dying, and b) actually being a Knight (you can't tell me his Dad would just shrug that off as no big deal because it doesn't bring in coin, surely he must realise what that would entail - honour, fighting prowess, influence etc), I quite like the idea that he's super dismissive, but then, after a while, things start to pop up that indicate how amazing his son has actually been. I'm talking like people bring tales back of heroic deeds and it sounds like his name (Tacker Martin), or influential people pass through and some of them have heard of him, or even someone he knows stops by, and then his Father's jaw just hits the deck. I also can't envisage him being a blacksmith for long, he'd be bound to get itchy feet and act as a kind of protector or ambassador for Morgan, earning the respect of the people because he's humble and worked hard.

But yeah, that's some of what went through my head. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable read and a real tale for the ages - some great ideas and situations, and throughout, a sense of real companionship between our heroes.

Thankso the lengthy feedback and I am glad that you enjoyed. Maybe there will be more in the future but there will be a BFG Anthology series stating soon.

Summary:

The Alpha Event was a worldwide phenomenon that changed life on Earth. 10 years ago, approximately half of the entire human female population grew to more than double their size. The incident happened instantaneously and the women who grew were seemingly at random. No one has an idea on how and why the AE happened and since then, the larger women, now known as Alphas, have taken hierarchy of the globe.

I checked this story out as I spotted themajestic had favourited me as an author - I have to say I think it's a really impressive bit of writing that I hope will be expanded upon in the future.

I'm assuming that the premise is consciously very similar to my own New World Order universe in 'GH-X2'; the height differences and terms (Alpha/Beta) are identical but the origin story and various other elements are slightly different. It also seems to be much friendlier than GH-X2; Betas actually outnumber Alphas & all men are in the same boat with half the women, so it's not quite as dystopian or inherently bleak to be small.

Despite these niceties, you've depicted a really fascinating scene with Jane and Anne manhandling two boys and forcing them to kiss one another. It's exactly the sort of bratty thing I like about this kind of size ratio, so well done and thank you for writing it - I really enjoyed it.

Author's Response:

Hello imagin8! Yes i am a big fan of your story and your poser work and would love to see more. :)

Also, thanks for the review and yes i have borrowed ideas from your story (hope you dont mind) since the size ratio is my favorite in giantess work. There isn't much Amazon sized stories as far as i know.

I enjoyed this story a lot, it was very pleasant and the lovemaking scenes were well-written. I am a big fan of this kind of size difference, and the NWO scenario was well thought out. My main criticism would be that everything was so lovely that there wasn't any real drama or intrigue, but that's more of a personal preference - not every tale has to be driven by conflict.

Summary:

Thanks to a special drug, nearly 75% of all women are now 12-14ft amazons. For the men and the unlucky women, their rights are often thought of as secondary.

However, one college student aims to change that. Hoping to create a serum to make everyone amazon sized, Richard is ready for his first test run of his serum. But his assistant, Courtney, is putting her life on the line for this. And does she share the same good intentions, or just another monster in the making?

I spotted this during my occasional browse through recent Amazon & MiniGTS stories on this site, and I have to say it's an excellently written tale that deserves some love. There are a handful of reviews on DeviantArt and none here, so I'm remedying that immediately!

First of all, love the scenario and size ratio, right up my street! 3 bratty, dominant amazon girls. 1 intelligent, resourceful boy trying to avoid being a victim and exact justice. I think I like the opening scene the best as it contains the clearest examples of the erotic, but terrifying nature of these girls.

The story progression is very clear and to the point, and the motivations of the characters make sense - I was immersed in it until the end. I like the way in which it all unfolded, and whilst I'm not the #1 fan of extreme violence / death / fighting between giantesses (I know a lot of people are) it was excellently handled.

Definitely deserves to be read by more people!

Pix, this is quite, quite brilliant. Complex, difficult, moving, bewildering, powerful, and brilliantly written. Up there as one of the best chapters of size fiction I've read, honestly. Completely worth the wait, and now waiting, excitedly, for more.

I'm gonna give my most enthusiastic and heartfelt encouragement towards a continuation of this one-shot. I was a massive fan of the original BFG: Angleland, in no small part due to the fantastic bond between the towering Jessica and the courageous Tucker, and their various trials and tribulations. Not only is this pilot an intriguing development many years down the line, but it involves a protagonist who can very definitely shed some light on what happened between J&T ( by virtue of existing, most notably), and could easily stand on its own as a different kind of narrative set in a world that's already established, well-rounded and full of life.

If we're going down a completely selfish route btw; any story that showcases a 9-foot tall, intimidating red-haired girl who seems quite stern, but hints at being secretly quite fair and nice, has my whole-hearted seal of approval on multiple levels, especially when said girl is paired with a relatively small male companion who is both wary of, and beguiled by her. It's a recipe that I think is set up extremely well for your particular brand of adventure, companionship and fairytale drama, and I really hope you plan to write more - there's a decent chance it could become my favourite story of yours by some margin... no pressure though!

Author's Response:

Hopefully it'll live up to your expectations when I get around to writing the rest of it.

I like drunk Maxine! She's way more forward and fun than sober Maxine.

I also really like the direction this has taken, it's a bit of a cliffhanger and Charles will have to rely on his wits to ensure he and Maxine don't get caught up in something terrible.

Bravo! I'm really looking forward to the next instalment.

Wonderful, wonderful stuff. Charles suffering a bit of a relapse, and Maxine putting her own disappointment and frustration to one side to make him feel safe and cared-for is lovely, heart-warming stuff that shows her development as a character and as a young woman. Her innocence about the everyday racism her fellow travellers face is well-observed too, as well as her ability to listen to and respect their explanations.

This has arguably been Maxine's least proactive chapter of the entire story, but instead it is her ability to support and supplement the group that has impressed enormously, as well as keeping a handle on her anger and both encouraging and protecting Charles, who clearly appreciates this enormously.

Can't wait for the next chapter...

I'd not read macro stories in absolutely ages, but over the last week or so I belatedly dipped into the Amazon / MiniGTS section and stumbled across this doozy. I devoured Chapters 1-9 in one big go a few days ago, and then caught up on the latest chapter yesterday.

First things first - this is a great read; genuinely excellent. One of my favourite premises (gradual size change), thoughtful characters, punchy dialogue, and strong in-story logic. The last three chapters in particular have seen the ante go through the roof, each one ending in reader elation, trepidation and devastation respectively.

Prior to chapter 8, Thomas could conceivably have stepped away with his reputation in tact, but the cathartic steaminess of finally getting to be with Trish hit so perfectly you simply couldn't blame him for capitulating as he did. Chapter 9 then felt like him crashing through emergency stop barriers blindly hoping to jump the unfinished freeway, before Chapter 10 shows him torpedoing off it into a hole that leads directly to hell. I feel absolutely awful for him; he's one of the best-written macrophile-proxy-characters I've ever encountered so his downfall hits pretty close to home, but it's not like the foreshadowing wasn't there. As inappropriate and unprofessional as it undoubtedly is, you've done an excellent job depicting the desperate, desirous thoughts someone with our kink would almost inevitably wrestle with if faced with such a situation in real life - an almost Icarus-like parable.

Having Trish treat him with such contempt post-downfall is brutal but believable, it just hurts so much after the pair of them shared a real bond. I think this is very much exacerbated by the fact that Trish paved a lot of the path that led to them becoming intimate, from Thomas' perspective it felt like he fought it as long as he could, but when presented with an impossible dream made real, that terrible temptation could not be resisted forever. He was weak, and for that he seemingly pays the ultimate price, but as a reader I am absolutely desperate for him to find a way to explain to Trish how it unfolded from his position, how he truly meant everything he said about seeing her as a human, and how tormented by his feelings he truly was and is.

Whatever unfolds from this point forward, I am fully invested in Thomas' quest to appeal to Trish's sense of empathy, perhaps because it reflects each of our own journeys towards acceptance and being loved for who we are in real life, I just really want Thomas and Trish to arrive at that conclusion together too, even if it takes a particularly long and circuitous route.
