Alex is a hard working man with a beloved wife an daughter depending on him. Having paid to keep them both normal sized, he is left bankrupt with no choice but to sacrifice himself to a new system set on shrinking 80% of the world's population to about an inch.
When he receives the dreaded phonecall, his wife offers to accompany him to the shrinking centre. However, not everything goes to plan- and a simple misunderstanding leaves Alex and his wife in for the ride of their lives.
