There´s always an end for everything, the end of a season, the end of a year, the end of a stage. Now, not all of the endings mean that this is it.
Most of them come with a new beginning. Just like the seasons, wrapping up and moving aside to give some way to the new season. Just like every year, ending only to let the new one begin.
But seasons are short, each lasts about three months, and even though you get all of those seasons in a year, a year´s also not such a long time.
Now, can you imagine what takes years to complete? What takes someone years of their lives to get? A lot of things, actually, but in this particular case, we´ll talk about a career.
If you start right at eighteen-years-old, you might be done with said career somewhere between your twenties and thirties. Depending on how good you do, how fast you are at learning, and if you make sure to deliver everything on time. Oh, and let´s not forget those times when you might need to pause it for a semester or two.
Now, unless you drop out, you will finish your career and get a degree. A major, a minor in anything you choose. Specialized? General knowledges only? Making it with the highest grades, with the average ones, barely making it, it doesn´t really matter, you´ll be done at the same time as most of your generation.
Standing next to those who took classes with you. Next to those people you´ve seen on campus; some are your friends, some others you may only know by name.
In the end, school will be over, and a new stage of your life will begin. It´s time for you to work. To move on and begin making money.
Now, as we said, there´s an end, and always a new beginning. But, who´s end and who´s new beginning?
This is the story of Benson, Ben for his friends. He just graduated, really recently. In fact, he just received his diploma this evening. And now, he´s lying on the grass, looking up into the sky.
The world´s quite big, and still, it´s nothing compared to the ever-expanding universe. The infinite number of galaxies, of stars, of empty space just… existing. We´re so much, and at the same time, we´re nothing, or so he wonders.
But he´s not alone, he´s next to his best friend, Dylan. Who also graduated today. In fact, they both picked the same career, Business.
What a better way to make money than to study money? How to earn it, how to use it, how to invest it! Wouldn´t it be great to retire early? To be rich at a young age? The world could be yours, if you truly understand money, there´s nothing out of your reach. After all, money´s everything nowadays. That´s what they have both been thinking since they were on high-school, and now, they are both adults, adults who are about to take on the world.
Both of them were at a party, celebrating with others, a new beginning was right at the door.
Now, instead of drinking and partying in the middle of others, they decided to just step aside and find a place where they could chat. Sure, drinking´s still on the table, but they just needed a small talk before getting drunk.
“Well, we did it, we made it ´til the end.” Said Dylan.
“Sure we did, dude, sure we did…” Ben felt so glad, mostly because he barely passed a few of his classes, but he´s got approving grades, so who cares? He´s over with, now, let all the money come.
“So, did you receive any call back from the places we applied to?” Dylan asked.
“Huh? Oh, right.” Wouldn´t it be awesome to work at the same place as your best friend for a first job? At least it´ll be for them. “Nah, not yet. I mean, it´s only been a couple of days, I´m sure they will call me anytime soon. How about you?” he asked.
“Well… I actually have, I… got a few calls yesterday.” Dylan´s not quite as “unlucky” as Ben. In fact, Dylan´s grades are quite the opposite. Instead of barely making a passing score, Dylan was one of the top students. He was no genius, but out of a thousand students, he was on the top fifty.
“You have? That´s awesome!” Ben felt happy for him, but Dylan couldn´t help but to feel a little sad for his friend. He knows Ben´s not as “charming”, at least not the kind of person an employer would hire based on his grades. He was an awesome guy, but just… not academically nice.
“Yeah… I was… thinking on accepting one of the offers. I… got an offer as an assistant manager for a startup company.” He admitted, happy, but at the same time sad.
“We… did we send our curriculum to a start up company?” Ben doesn´t recall doing such a thing, as far as he knows, they only send their info to big companies.
“No, we… they told me that they received my curriculum from one of those companies we send them to, you know, the tech one. They were not currently hiring, but they thought this other company could use the info, and so on and so on, and now… I was thinking, it´s close home so… why not, right? At least I can make some money to rent an apartment, and if things go smoothly the first year, maybe I could get a car.” Ben was thinking so much about his beginning in this new life as someone with a job, but he was also kind of sad.
Not sad because of the job, sad because he might not be with his best friend. He even asked the guy who called him from the startup company if they needed anyone else, maybe he could tell them about Ben. But he said they didn´t need anyone else.
His fear is that, no one will hire Ben because of his grades, and that, instead of finding a nice position at a company, he might have to go through a few random jobs to gain working experience.
May his resume be good enough to persuade people from his grades. Maybe if he´s a top performer employee wherever her works, people will be interested.
But he knows Ben, he´s not the top on anything. He´s late most of the time, he often forgets things such as deadlines or assignments. He´s not as proactive as he should be. Lazy is a strong word, but is not far from the truth.
“Dude, that´s awesome!” Ben said, genuinely happy for his friend.
“It… it is, right? I mean, it´s not like a huge company, they are barely starting, but who knows, maybe it´ll be the next big deal.” Dylan said.
“Of course! It´s quite an opportunity, and if they are big someday, by that time, you´ll be a CEO or some shit, you´re always one step ahead.” Ben cheered.
“Yeah, can you imagine?” CEO? Manager sounds closer to reality, but CEO´s not impossible.
“I can, the only problem is… back home? Dude, will you move back home?” Ben teased.
“I mean… maybe for a month or two, why?” Dylan asked.
“Oh, it´s nothing, I was just thinking… moving back home with your parents? Isn´t that… lame?” He teased.
“Shut up!” Dylan chuckled. “I´m just moving back until I receive my first pay check. How about you? Are you going to stay here?” Both of them lived in the same city, but they moved to college in a different state, now they are miles away from home. Here, Ben feels more independent than at home.
“Sure! I mean, whether or not I receive a call back from those companies, Josh, you remember Josh? He told me his uncle´s the owner of a small business… he sells cars, but, hey, we all have to start somewhere, right?” Ben said.
“Well… yeah. We all start somewhere.” Dylan was a little worried, but it´s just a first job.
“Plus, for every car I sell, I´ll get a commission. AND, being a part of a small business allows me to be a part of everything, you know? I can see how the real world works, how much you spend, how much you earn, everything about starting your own business. And, if things work well, maybe I could start my own business, you know?” Ben had always had high hopes, looking at all of the good things on the bad ones, there´s an opportunity everywhere, you just have to find it.
“Right, right. Yeah, hey! We could even be partners!” Dylan added.
“Of course…” And then, with a head full of dreams, they both went different paths.
Now, there were a few things that were not said that day.
For starters, when Ben teased Dylan about moving back home, he couldn´t help but to think of Dylan´s mother. Maybe not the best thing a friend could do, but who could blame him?
Dylan´s mom was sexy. A thin waist, fleshy hips and some nice boobs. Of course, these were some of his most secret thoughts.
Who´d want to hear their best friend talking about how hot your mother is? No one, that´s how many people.
Now, this was the very beginning of their lives, their real lives as adults.
They were still young, both of them 22-years-old. They were full of energy and their minds were fueled by dreams.
No matter how drunk they could get, they will never forget where they want to be. Up, at the top, always trying to achieve greatness.
Of course, greatness requires hard work, something Dylan´s better at, but Ben can learn how to like it.
---
Time flew by for these two. And no, Ben received no calls from any company. But, let´s be fair, Dylan didn´t receive any either. Sure, they did send his curriculum to a company, but it wasn’t THE company he chose.
However, they did well. Dylan was doing great at his new job, and Ben was doing quite good at selling cars.
Now, Ben was very good at this, he had charisma, he knew what to say, how to persuade people. And, on top of that, he was handsome. Not model handsome, but he had quite the looks.
Standing at 6´, big brown eyes and nice brown hair. All he did was to wear some fancy clothes, say some fancy words, and he could make a deal within a moment.
But not everything lasts forever. The place where he worked at had to close. Josh´s uncle wanted to retire and no one wanted to deal with the company.
Ben knew it was too much for him to handle, so he didn´t try to take over.
The years went by, and Ben went from that job to the next one. He was great at selling cars, but those skills are not quite as needed at the companies he wanted to work on.
According to him, if you want to be the best, then you have to work at one of the best companies.
He sent curriculums again, but no one ever called back.
It had been a year, and he really had nothing to do. And the worse part is, the money he had saved was running down.
And to make things even worse, he received a call from Dylan. Terrible news Dylan´s dad had passed away.
He immediately went back to his home town to meet his best friend. Dylan was sad, Ben could see the sorrow in his eyes.
Ben was there for his friend, it was the best he could do. And this, even if it was a sad moment, gave them some time to catch up.
Ben was unemployed, but not for long, he reassured. And Dylan was doing quite well at his new job. In fact, he received a raise! At least one of them was doing good… economically at least.
Ben also made sure to go and give his condolences to Dylan´s mother.
She looked so sad, way sadder than Dylan, almost devastated. But he couldn´t deny the fact that she looked radiant.
Does it make him a deuce for thinking that on her husband´s funeral? It´s not like he´s thinking it with bad intentions, he´s just acknowledging she´s a mature, pretty woman. It´s closer to a compliment, right?
Well, now both of them were 23, and there were a couple new things that didn´t exist before.
Such as… treatments.
---
A big company had started working with a clinic, the name wasn´t said, but they made a promise. One that sounded so strange for everyone, but they came with a proof, the proof that it worked. That their treatment guaranteed results.
What was this treatment? What kind of results? The company was specialized on make-up, and everything else that can make a woman look prettier. Vanity, as most saw it.
Now, there was a promise they made, about their new treatment and the new products they were about to launch. Beauty? Youth? Become sexier? They had it!
But that was not just it, it was not a make-up, not just a cream, not a temporary glow-up, it would last more. And the effects, everyone could see them, everyone will notice.
They could make a woman look prettier, not just their skin, but their bodies. They could recover a youthful look, make their skin smoother, firmer. But that was not it, the body? What could they do?
Thicker, fleshier, sexier. You could lose weight and have the body of a vixen, or on the contrary, you´ll gain weight and acquire the curves of a muse! But there was more, so much more.
What was the most important thing about this? Well, this treatment could make you grow! Not personal growth, not becoming successful, no, this treatment will literally make you taller!
And how could you know? Well, the owner of the company was the sexiest woman ever, and she stood at almost ten-feet-tall!
Her name was Mrs. Carlisle, and her company will take over the world. How quick? Well, very quick.
---
Years kept coming and going.
Now, were those years good for Ben? Some were, at first, and then… they were not.
He tried his best to reach his goal, but for that goal, he needs to make some money first, and to make said money, he needed to keep a job for more than a year.
Was it hard? No, but… you get tired after you´re fired for the third time.
Was he the problem? Well, sometimes. But that´s not something he could easily see, not something he could realize.
On top of going from one job to the other, the same thing happened in love.
He was attractive, sure, fit? Yes. Being unemployed a month or two every year give you some time to work out. He still had a nice physique, and he kept his good looks.
You have to look at your very best, both for dating and applying for new jobs. But, he had it easier finding a new job other than finding a couple. Needless to say, he lasted more on a new job than on a new relationship.
Some were over because he got fired, some others because he could never remember their birthdays, or their anniversary; but he was never with a woman for more than a year… well, the three-month anniversaries are a thing now, at least for some.
Ben was tired, what was it with him and love? With him and jobs?
He could always get a job, but what about the ladies?
---
One day, he was just tired.
He had been fired that same day. He didn´t like the company that much anyways. But what bothered him the most was his lack of skill with relationships.
He had the looks, but why couldn´t he make them stay? Why couldn´t he make the love grow? At some point, late at night, he wondered, what if it wasn´t him?
What if it was them?
Silly monthly anniversaries, love lost because he was unemployed, some of them were, let´s say it, very material. Some wanted him to be rich. Some wanted him just as an accessory, only to say they had a boyfriend or were seeing someone.
Why were all women like this? There was a time when love was love, when people cared not for what you had, but for who you were. For the love you could give.
And so, he wondered, were the old times easier? Not the ancestral ones, he didn´t have to go that back in time, but… how about the past generation?
A time when men and women actually looked for love. When they truly meant the word love. When it was a feeling and not a series of conveniences they found on each other.
And so, he wondered, what if he found a mature woman? An old-fashioned one? Of course, he wouldn´t just try and seduce a random lady, she had to be a lady of a certain kind. A milf.
“A mature woman, who knows what love is, who´s mature enough to realize that a true love has more meaning. And… with enough money not to be mad about me not having a job.” That could give him a break.
Thinking on this, he tried to picture who would the perfect milf be. Who? She has to be kind, she has to be caring, sweet, loving and sexy.
Let´s face it, love´s the true meaning of a relationship, but his brain can be quite lustful at times, the body matters, it´s not the main thing, but it matters.
Now, who could this lady be?
Would it be too bad if, as he was trying to picture her, the only thing that came to his mind was Dylan´s mom?
She was always so sweet, so gentle, attentive. And let´s be honest, she had a nice, firm butt. And her boobs were sexy as well.
When he thought of her, his heart beat faster. And she was single too. She didn´t got married again, not that he knows.
“Fuck…” he thought, covering his face with his hands and then, trying to rub the shame off.
It´s been a while since he met her, in fact, a while since he met Dylan. And now, with no other choice than to move back home, mostly since he´s got no money, he wonders… was she the milf he was looking for?
