The Dance with Dragons was over, and the dispute over who was the rightful successor to Viserys I Targaryen had been resolved, for better or for worse. Queen Alicent Hightower knew upon the end of the conflict that life was about to become extremely difficult, but her memory of recent days seemed to have faded. She could recall that she was the Queen of Westeros, and that she had been removed from her royal position, but not much else.

Alicent woke up somewhere unfamiliar. The space she was in was pitch black, so tight that she could barely move, and the air was thick with the stench of something pungent and deeply unpleasant. The air felt very moist; what should have been oxygen was instead made up of the odor of whatever was stinking the place up. The smell reminded her of sweat, and strangely of her childhood friend-turned foe Rhaenyra, the false queen. She could have sworn that she had smelled this bad stench in the past, the very very distant past…

With what little strength she had, Alicent tried to move, but it felt like something was on top of her. She tried to push it with all her might, but was greeted with a sweaty appendage hitting her in the face, as though it were… alive. Unable to see, Alicent thought that it was unlike anything she had come across in her life. It wasn’t like an animal. Something about it felt very… human. In fact, the surface reminded her of skin. Very rough skin. The shape of it precluded that possibility. The thing that hit her started moving around more aggressively, hitting her in the face and covering her in some kind of fluid, all with the same familiar scent.

“What the fuck is this thing!” Alicent wailed helplessly, trying anything to escape the scent and her growing claustrophobia. It was all totally futile.

Despite whatever direction Alicent kicked or pushed in she met the enclosed walls of this prison, which felt like hard leather; or she made direct contact with the coarse fleshy entity surrounding her, which only seemed to become more angry with her. Alicent felt around with her free arms and noticed smaller appendages coming off of a larger ‘torso.’ It was like there were 5 thick tentacles of varying size, all with joints.

Panic grew in Alicent’s mind. She was too terrified to say a word. Whatever this thing was, it was a monster. She wanted out immediately, but saw no avenue of exit. It was too dark and too tight to maneuvre anywhere, and the attacks on her senses were becoming unbearable. The smell, the tight space, the thick moisture in the air, the complete dark. When would it end?

The huge moist thing in the space with her lifted its five appendages upwards and then dropped itself over the top of Alicent again, engulfing her in a fleshy wave. The weight was nightmarishly incredible, and the surface of the skin coated Alicent’s tongue. Something about the experience felt deeply personal. She couldn’t make out what it was exactly, but the energy of this thing seemed to indicate it was enjoying itself. With its appendage covering her entire body, the entity pulled Alicent downwards, while placing even more pressure on her helpless body. The ‘tentacles’ were replaced by a wall of coarse flesh. There were a few dry patches, noticeable wrinkles, hints of a bone beneath.

Despite her panic, Alicent started to conjure an image of what this thing was in her head. From what little information she could gather from the environment it was as though she was being tormented by a foot. A giant foot. She had encountered the toes earlier, and now seemed to be under the sole, somewhere just below the balls of the foot. Even the smell was deeply reminiscent of foot sweat after a long walk around the stony beaches of Blackwater Bay. But that couldn’t be right. It just wasn’t possible. Anxiety took over Alicent’s rational thinking; she tried her best to talk herself out of thinking about what her own imagination was tormenting her with: The prospect that she was stuck under a gigantic foot and that this prison was a big shoe.

“It’s not real. It’s not a foot. This isn’t a shoe. This is just a bad dream! It’s all a bad dream! The Dance of Dragons, the fall of my House, all of it. I’m still the Queen of Westeros! It’ll all be over soon.”

Alicent would tell herself all kinds of things to trick herself into believing them, but her very reality was indicating nothing but the conclusion she had previously reached.

“It’s all a dream, it is not real! Get a grip on yourself Alicent!”

Her breathing became heavier, the air thinner, and the pace of her voice rapidly sped up.

The weight was almost impossible to withstand. The entity pushed down on Alicent’s chest and constrained her breathing. What little air she could pull in was tainted with the foul stench and taste of sweat particles and lint. She felt like a bug. Not even the Kingsguard treated those who challenged the royal House with such brutality, yet here she was, being reduced to less than she could have imagined. What did she do to deserve this? Alicent’s base instincts returned. She tried kicking her legs and pushing her arms upwards, but the weight of the entity kept her stuck in place. She might as well have been frozen in ice.

In some desperate hope to wake her up from the nightmare, Alicent called out.

“Guards! Into my chambers immediately! Help!”

Instead of guards waking her up from a bad dream, Alicent heard a giggle. The voice sounded feminine, and yet also very deep.

“Who is that?!” Alicent demanded, wasting precious air.

The entity weighed in on Alicent more heavily. It was like it had amplified itself by ten, constraining her breathing further. If it went on for any longer Alicent felt like she might die from asphyxiation, in the dark, alone… but what was that voice? Something about it was eerily familiar. She couldn’t tell if it was a friend or foe. The greatly weakened thinking part of her mind finally put the pieces together, confirming the worst her imagination tormented her with. The laugh was from the entity. It was a human. The musky smell made sense to her. She really was stuck under a human sole. The most terrifying part of it all was the realization that she was now tiny, likely no more than an inch tall.

Alicent couldn’t help but scream her questions out loud. “How did I get so small! Who did this to me?!”

Finally, a loud feminine voice spoke back. “Stop asking questions. Worship my foot, SLAVE!” she said as she pressed down against tiny Alicent with all of her strength. The poor tiny woman felt like bones would pop out of their sockets.

“Okay!” Alicent wailed, “I’ll worship it! Just don’t do anything else, please!”

“I make the rules,” the woman replied firmly. “Lick it clean.” It was a command.

Alicent actively licked the sole of the woman’s foot, feeling the salty sweat wash over her tongue. She couldn’t believe she was now inviting that putrid stuff into her mouth. Many things were now going through her mind. First was the humiliation. She was a queen, but here she was being treated as less than a common servant. The maids of the Red Keep never had to do anything so foul! Second was the panic. After confirming that she was dealing with a particularly twisted human being she wondered what her captor had in store for her next. She was terrified that things would get worse, more disgusting. Third was that she knew this had to be some kind of punishment. Whoever this horrible being was, it had to be someone on the opposite side of the war. Nobody would treat their queen this way unless they saw them as a false queen!

Alicent prayed between licks, begging for help, but also looking for some kind of mental distraction. “To the old gods and the new, let me out of here!”

“There are no gods coming to save you, worm,” the woman stated calmly. “The closest thing you have to a god now…. Is me…”

The sense of familiarity grew for Alicent. She was getting an even worse feeling now. As she continued licking and cleaning the gigantic sole of its sweat and gunk, Alicent's jaw was getting tired and her tongue was becoming dry. She would need some water soon or might pass out from dehydration. Moments later, she collapsed, unable to continue licking and simply stared into the darkness.

Suddenly, light filled the shoe. Alicent slammed her eyes shut, unable to adapt after being trapped in the dark for so long. When she was able to open them in the tiniest squint, Alicent was welcomed by a new horror.

Looking down at her was the gigantic face of her former childhood friend and greatest foe, Rhaenyra.

“Surprised to see me, Alicent?”

Petrified, Alicent didn’t know what to say. She stammered. Her lips quivered.

“What’s wrong? Don’t feel worthy to look upon a Queen?” Rhaenyra asked.

Alicent continued to whimper. She was now shivering in terror.

“Let me bring you up to speed,” Rhaenyra said, “the war is over and I have taken my rightful place as Queen of the Andals and the First Men.” A smile stretched across her face. Rhaenyra chuckled. “Oh yes, I am YOUR Queen. More accurately, I think I’m more like a GODDESS to you.”

Alicent finally conjured the guts to speak. “Rhaenyra… p-please… w-whatever you’re thinking…”

Rhaenyra raised a hand dismissively. “There’s nothing to talk about. This is your punishment for your treacherous actions! Yep! You’re going to be MY personal foot servant. You will worship, clean, and pleasure my feet in any way that I see fit. You treated me like dirt for so long Alicent. You treated your Queen like she was nothing. Well now you’ll be less than nothing…”

Tears were rolling down Alicent’s face as she desperately attempted to reason her way out of the situation. “Rhaenyra…”

“YOUR GRACE!” Rhaenyra shouted, almost shattering one of Alicent’s eardrums.

“Y-your G-Grace…” Alicent said meekly. “I beg for your mercy! Your Grace is powerful, but also compassionate and forgiving!”

Rhaenyra giggled. “Save your energy for my foot, bitch. Now get back to work.”

Before Alicent could get another word she was met with Rhaenyra’s giant foot coming back down on top of her. In the light Alicent was able to make out all the fine details. Despite how horrifying it was, there was a beauty about the Queen’s milky white feet. It was almost angelic. That brief thought ended when she was trapped inside of the shoe once again, being forced to lick and worship Rhaenyra’s sweaty foot. Alicent screamed for mercy, to no avail. All she could feel was the intense weight of the gigantic foot and its overwhelming stench.

“Now slave,” Rhaenyra said playfully, “you’ve done a good job so far, but your work isn’t over yet. Not even close.” She giggled like a little girl, excited to inflict her wrath on the tiny false queen beneath her. “Call me anything other than ‘Your Grace’ again and I will end your life… in the most painful way I possibly can. I’ll make your death a slow agony. But if you’re good and do what your Queen says then I might reward you. Might…”

Alicent said nothing. All she could do was continue to lick Rhaenyra’s giant foot and cry tears of anguish.

“I’ll give you something to eat later, but you have to EARN your right to live under my feet. Being able to worship your Queen is a privilege many would fight and die for. Maybe someday you’ll learn to appreciate it…”

Rhaenyra pushed the rest of her foot the whole way in, squeezing Alicent near the end of the flat right by the balls of her feet. It was hopeless for Alicent. If she did anything other than comply she’d be tortured, or worse. She was too scared to even scream.

“Welcome to your new home, slave,” said Rhaenyra. “Hope it was worth it to get on my bad side…”

As memories of playing together as children raced through Alicent’s mind, she was brought back to the immediate reality that she was now here, in the dark of an old stinky flat, worshipping her enemy’s monstrous foot. There was nobody to come save her, and there was no escape. Her servitude would last years.
