Author's Chapter Notes:
Decided to do a playful installment in this series. A woman is out shopping for a new nose stud and happens on a unique offer from Minirals that she just can't pass up.

Sarah rarely went in for trends, but with the Minirals Gems of the World, she was willing to make an exception. An avid outdoors enthusiast she was delighted to find a piece featuring a recreation of a sizable city nestled in a lovely mountain valley. The piece was billed as a luxury ski resort and contained about 10,000 people. The piece was much cheaper than most of the shrunken biomes. Apparently she would have to bring this one back to be inspected and so its residents could rotate out at least once every two months. She would even get a decent sized stipend if the residents enjoyed themselves.  After a background check, a look at her personal history, and a Minirals agent approved of her, of course. These were guests of hers and Minirals, the sales rep emphasized, not possessions.

This was perfect as she could not afford one otherwise. Most Minirals pieces were a permanent arrangement, often people who booked a lifetime stay in a luxury piece to avoid going to a debtors camp or to escape the overcrowded monotony of the real world. Sarah bought the Gem because the small diamond enclosure was exactly what she was looking for, a nose stud. So within an hour of seeing it, Sarah’s lightly sun-kissed and freckled face sported a wide grin and a new nose stud on the side of her right nostril.

That night, after showering,, Sarah gazed into the mirror, marveling at how the miniature city adorned her nose. Suddenly, she found herself lost in a daydream, imagining herself as a colossal giantess, towering over the tiny inhabitants of the city. In her fantasy, Sarah gently leaned closer, her breath causing miniature winds to rustle through the microscopic streets. Peering down with awe, she watched as the tiny citizens scurried about, going about their daily lives, unaware of her immense presence above.

She snapped out of her light fantasy as her gaze drifted from the gem in her nose to her bare breasts reflected in the mirror. She quickly blushed in embarrassment and snatched a towel to cover herself.

“Hope you lot enjoyed the free show,” She said to her reflection, before trying to focus on the Gem at the tip of her nose. She found herself going cross eyed as she did. She looked back at the mirror and puckered her lips to blow a kiss to the 8,391 people currently in her nose piercing.

As Sarah continued to gaze into the mirror, the tiny city seemed to come alive before her eyes. She imagined herself as the protector of this tiny civilization, marveling at the intricacies of its miniature architecture and the bustling activity of its diminutive inhabitants. The diamond dome was somewhat translucent and she could see the outline of the city in the mountains if she squinted hard enough. She couldn’t see the individual people, but she knew they could see her if they looked up. She took in her own appearance in the mirror.

Sarah, was what people would call a tomboy and was told she exudes an effortless blend of strength, independence, and charm. Standing at an average height with a sturdy build, she possessed an athletic physique honed by her love for outdoor adventures. Her tousled chestnut hair was cut short, slightly longer than a pixie cut, for now it was mussed up from her toweling it off. Her face sported a smattering of freckles across her cheeks and nose. Her hazel eyes shown brightly with curiosity and mischief as she gazed at the tiny city atop the tip of her nose.

In her growing fantasy, Sarah envisioned herself as a gentle giantess, careful not to disturb the delicate balance of life within the shrunken city. She imagined reaching out with her colossal hands, offering protection and guidance to the tiny citizens who looked up at her with awe and reverence. She shook her head, water spraying the mirror. She smirked as she wondered how chaotic a view that must be for the tinies. While always a kind person, she felt a growing sense of protectiveness towards her guests. Guests who could see every facet of her life by looking up in the sky.

“Nosey tinies” she giggled as she left the bathroom.

Mark, a guest of the shrunken city nestled within Sarah's nose stud, found himself living a life of wonder and excitement unlike any he could imagine. Every day since his company had booked this retreat, Mark ventured out into the streets of the city, marveling at the intricate architecture and vibrant energy that surrounded him. From his perspective, even the simplest tasks took on a sense of grandeur, as he navigated the city's streets. From his perspective, the world around him was a thriving resort nestled near a set of mountains with the greatest ski slopes in the world. In reality he was too small to see with the naked eye, and the town was nestled in a gem barely three centimeters wide. He loved looking up out the translucent dome at the world around them. This dome was nearly perfectly clear as it provided a fairly unobstructed view of the new hostess as she purchased them. He sat on the balcony of his room as he watched her go about her day. The perspective and absurd scale of everything was fascinating to him.

The world rocketed by at obscene speeds, yet he could still make most of it out. In six weeks he would be back out there in the real world, but for now he was in Sarah’s world. That was the name the city had been told belonged to their new hostess. Unlike most Miniral Pieces, the location of this nose stud would be heavily monitored and tracked. She did not own it per say, more of a leasing arrangement. This meant that in six weeks, the residents of her nasal adornment would leave and a new batch would be miniaturized. This way, the wealthy such as his company could experience the amenities and thrill of being the possession of a giant without any actual risk. Though they still had to sign numerous waivers.

Nearly all activity in the tiny resort town stalled as everyone looked up in the sky to see Sarah’s fit, nude body. She was fit, athletic. He was never a romantic or religious, but she truly looked like a goddess. A fun, free-spirited and playful goddess.

As the sun rose over the horizon, signaling the beginning of a new day, Sarah awoke with a sense of anticipation. Today was the day she had planned to embark on a hiking adventure with some friends, and she eagerly prepared herself for the journey ahead. She debated telling them about her new purchase, but was going to wait and see if anyone noticed. If they did, she would play it off as no big deal, though it constantly dominated her thoughts.

“Oh? This old thing? It’s just a high end ski resort. It only has about 8,000 people in it.”

Sure, she’d say something like that, she smirked to herself as she brushed her teeth. She looked at the nose ring in the mirror and grinned, wiggling her nose a bit at her own reflection. She always found her nose to be her cutest feature.

Meanwhile, in the shrunken city nestled within Sarah's piercing, Mark began his day much like any other. He emerged from his room, greeted by the familiar sights and sounds of the bustling streets. As he and some of his friends from the office made their way through the city, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement in the air- a feeling that seemed to permeate every corner of the miniature world in which he was staying. Everyone was excited to see what the titaness would do with them. He kept looking up at the dome as he rode the ski lift up the summit of the mountain. Every day the snow was perfect. He completely forgot about the expensive perfection he was paying for as Sarah was once again looking at herself in the mirror, she winked at the mirror and pulled her top off, letting her gaze and the gazes of thousands of tinies linger on her nude form. Mark lingered so long on her heavenly form that he missed the stop on the ski lift and rode it back down the mountain. Twice.

As Sarah set out on her hiking adventure, her footsteps echoed through the surrounding forest, sending vibrations rippling through the earth. She imagined that each step she took sent gentle tremors through the shrunken city atop her nose, causing buildings to sway and tiny inhabitants to scurry for cover. Silly tinies, she would never hurt them, she thought with a smile. As the day wore on, Sarah and her friends trekked through the rugged terrain, pausing occasionally to admire the breathtaking views that surrounded them. Sarah was a little disappointed that neither of the girls she was with even mentioned her new piercing. She felt awkward bringing it up herself, what would she say? “Oh, Margot, Kady, I brought 8,000 friends along!”

Still, as they set up camp atop a ridge facing a beautiful summer sunset, Sarah forgot about her little inhabitants enjoying a perpetual winter wonderland on her snout. Margot was frying up some bacon behind her, causing her sniffer to twitch, shaking Mark’s view of the sunset that he was also trying to enjoy.

As the night descended upon the world, Sarah retired to her cozy little tent and laid down in her comfy sleeping bag, only closing the transparent mesh flap, so she could enjoy the view of the stars. She looked at the slightly distorted view of the sky and wondered if that compared with how her tinies saw the world. She idly reached up and flicked the gemstone a little bit, before rubbing it with her right index finger. She tapped it lightly, booping her own nose.

“Boop. Good night.”

As Sarah drifted off to sleep, her gentle breathing caused her nose to flare and twitch with each deep inhale and exhale. Mark lay in his own bed watching the distorted sky rise and fall with each of her breaths. Earlier that evening he had climbed to the tallest mountain peak here and looked out at the expanse of her lightly freckled nose. Each freckle was larger than the entire city. He could just catch a glimpse of her thick eyelashes and radiant eyes, though the perspective was a bit distorted.

Mark imagines what it’d be like to see more of Sarah at this scale. He wondered if she’d ever consider getting more Gems of the World in the future. It had only been two days, but he could honestly see himself living in one of her pieces permanently. A few guys had joked about how large and unsightly her pores were or how gross it was when a bit of her sweat had beaded onto the piercing as she hiked. He loved all of it. It was natural. Like the natural world she enjoyed.

Mark enjoyed his time at the resort and was sad when it ended. Roughly a year after being restored to his natural size Mark was walking into the new gym he had joined. They had a great rock wall that he loved to use. He wasn’t paying attention when he bumped into a short woman with chestnut hair.

“Oh, excuse me,” she said, looking up. She was barely five feet tall, compared to his six foot three inches.

“What?” She asked, caught off guard by his odd look. He was staring at her nose stud. “Is there something on my face?” She roughly wiped her sweaty nose with the back of her gloved hand, rubbing it over the shrunken resort adorning her nostril.

“Uh, sorry. Uh, no. Nothing” He stammered, caught off guard.

“Kay,” she replied as she grabbed a towel and headed towards the locker room. “I just finished teaching a climbing class, so I uh… I’m gonna go.”

“S-Sarah?” He blurted out. She paused and turned back, inquisitively.

“Yeah?” She asked, “Have we met?”

There was an awkward silence for a moment as she wiped the beading sweat off of her nose with the back of her climbing glove. She rubbed the gem for a moment as had become a habit before realization dawned on her.

“No!” She said, her eyes growing wide. “No way!”

“Yeah, I was uh… I was there when you bought it.”

She rushed towards him and hugged him tight with a bounce and a giggle, not worried about her dampness or smell. As far as she was concerned they had been intimate enough already to where he'd better not complain about her smell. She released him and looked up with wonder and excitement.

“You have to tell me everything!”

And so he did. Then she asked him to meet for a cup of coffee. They’ve been dating for two years ever since. It was a very good cup of coffee. The only time they were not together was when he was even closer to her. In one of the many piercings and rings she ended up purchasing from Minirals. Apparently her active lifestyle and outgoing personality made her a popular choice for Minirals Vacations and Excursions. Mark didn’t complain in the slightest that at any time his girlfriend may have 100,000 people on her body. In fact, he quite enjoyed being one of them, in every sense of the word. In fact, he was looking at getting a Minirals ring to propose with and perhaps live part time in.

Chapter End Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this one. I originally had a crueler story planned but this idea felt too cute not to use, so I had to go with it! Leave a comment and a review letting me know what you want to see.
