Part 1: Prolouge by MasterOfMicro

It's hard to pinpoint exactly how long its been since we were found. If I had to guess, it's been about 6 months. Time is irrelevant now, regardless. There's no point in keeping count if we're not going to be around much longer. The Earth's population was well over 7 billion, nearing 8. Now, only about a million of us still roam the planet, or what's left of it if you want to be specific. It's not survival of the fittest, even the fittest would have been perished in the blink of an eye. It's luck, pure and simple luck, that we're still alive. After a while, you stop caring. If I die tomorrow, or in the next few minutes, so be it. I'm sick and tired of living in constant paranoia. How could such an innocent acting person create such chaos and destruction? With no effort whatsoever, she could just end it all right now.

She found us one day, after some space time mumbo jumbo caused our planet to shift dimensions. We wound up in a universe identical to ours, except everything is much, much bigger. Lucky for us, we simply floated above a small patch of grass for a few weeks. Then she came. We were in absolute awe of her sheer size. Her purple converse shoes utterly dwarfed our planet. It was hard to comprehend just how big she was. She wasn't particularly big for her universes scale, a dainty 15 year old about 5'1" and 95 pounds. Despite her petite size, any slight action by her caused unimaginable destruction and death. "Is that a floating marble? Whoaaaa" her titanic voice boomed after she first encountered us. Her hand reached down and held us loosely. The warmth generated from her body was intense, which led to the first fatalities. She brought us back to her house, placed us on her desk where our planet continued to float. This is where our planet usually resides, but she frequently picks it up to play with.

Uh oh. Looks like shes doing it again. I know thats a pretty calm reaction, but honestly I'm just numb to it at this point. I don't know why shes so fascinated with what she thinks is just a marble. She has no clue anyone is here. It looks like we're going in the sock this time. She just tosses us into her sock and wears it. That's it. I have no clue what satisfaction she gains from it, I'd imagine that would just feel uncomfortable.

It looks like my luck has finally ran out. The remains of my city are about to rub up against the side of her toe. I suppose, to put silver lining on this massive shit cloud, if I had to die to what I can only describe as a goddess, the toes are probably the best option. Doesn't mean I'm happy about it. She's only 15, it's weird to think about things like that. Anyway, it looks like my times up. I'm not even sure why I'm writing this down, but if you're somehow reading this, I wish you luck in the new world. I hope the Earth manages to escape the clutch of the girl, and somehow we rebuild. Consider this my farewe-

Part 2: First Contact by MasterOfMicro

Sophia Allen was a 10th grade student at Waterfront High. She wasn't a popular girl nor was she a social outcast. She had long wavy brown hair and often wore oversized t-shirts and leggings, often with a hoodie on top, complete with slip on shoes or poorly tied Converse's. Despite her short stature, barely over 5 feet tall, she was the captain of her school's women's basketball team, which was one of the most successful teams in the city. Sophia wasn't a straight A student but wasn't a slouch in class either. She did her work on time but didn't see a need to put all her effort into it, as she wanted to dedicate her time to basketball and going out with her friends. She lived with her mother and her cat, but her mom was at work most of the time, thus Sophia was alone a lot. A pretty ordinary life, all said and done. That is, to most people her life was nothing too unusual.

Dimension VS-495 was very similar to Sophia's. It had it's own planet Earth, although the landmasses were a different shape and it's thick blue atmosphere made them hard to see from outerspace. While this dimension was similar to Sophia's in terms of looks, they could not be more different in terms of size. Dimension VS-495 was tiny, and when a quantum wormhole whisked away Earth VS-495, it spelled disaster. The miniscule Earth was no bigger than a grape in Dimension EB-385, the one Sophia resided in. As mentioned, it's thick blue atmosphere made it look like a small blue marble. Much like Sophia, it wouldn't seem out of the ordinary to anyone, and hardly anyone would do a double take if they saw it. They would likely just see it as a small toy a child left behind and never give it a second thought. The tiny Earth landed in a patch of grass near a sidewalk. The people were in a frenzy, petrified of the enormous green objects towering over the continents, while the more unfortunate people closer to the south pole were greeted a sky full of dirt and the smell of fresh fertilizer. Minor tremors struck the planet, increasing in intensity as a thunderous booming sound burrowed into eardrums.

Sophia was walking home from basketball practice. She was exhausted and wanted nothing more than to flop down on her bed and take it easy for the rest of her evening. Her mouth was already salivating at the thought of the pizza her mother had given her money to order for dinner. Then something caught her eye. A shiny blue marble lying in the grass. Sophia wasn't entirely sure why, but she was very fascinated by the marble. She picked it up to investigate it. Squinting hard enough, she noticed large, vaguely green patches. She was tempted to just toss it in the river, but something was attracting her to it and she couldn't explain why. Almost without thinking, she tucked it into her hoodie pocket and continued to walk home.

To say the people of Earth were in a panic would be an understatement. Chaos spread throughout the streets. Shops were looted, cars were flipped over. Nobody was sure how to react, so they just reacted with destruction. It was the apocalypse to many. Millions had perished by Sophia's gentle grasp of the planet between her 2 fingers, wiping out a few countries from existence. Rescue missions to find any survivors were underway, but with the darkness of her pocket blocking out any natural sunlight it was very difficult. Many resorted to prayer, even those with no religious affiliation were lining up at churches, mosques and synagouges to try and find peace with what was happening. Top scientists were in a frenzy trying to figure out exactly what had happened to no avail. They could simply not explain why their planet suddenly teleported to a dimension where they were completely dwarfed by a petite high school girl.

Sophia arrived home, quickly fed her cat and retreated into her room, removing the marble from her pocket the moment she flopped down on her bed. She rolled it around between her fingers, wondering why she was so drawn to it. It was remarkably smooth and cool to the touch. Her fingers were slightly wet from touching it, which she simply assumed was dew from the grass. She took a sniff of it. It smelled of gasoline and salt water, an odd combination. "Whatever this is, it sure is unusual" she said to herself. She placed it on the floor as she removed her Converse's.

The chaos on Earth had turned into nothing more than just shock and awe. It was deathly quiet. The worldwide rioting had almost completely seized. Many people in the countries that got flattened had retreated to underground bunkers, and emerged without a scratch. Nobody knew what to do or think. Their massive planet, home to billions of people and countless numbers of other organisms, was utterly insignificant compared to the enormous purple and white striped socks that now filled the entire horizon. The pungent odour quickly overwhelmed a large number of people. Many had seen Sophia as punishment for their sins, and began to worship her to try and receive forgiveness to spare their planet or at the very least save them. As Sophia removed her socks as well, greeting the planet to a flesh coloured sky with her dainty figures looming over parts of northern hemisphere. The odour got worse, many people gagged or even fainted. Her toes, each roughly the size of the planet, scrunched and returned to their original position. It was nearly incomprehensible how such titanic objects could move so seamlessly, it was fasincating and horrifying at the same time. Was this truly the end of their world? Or was it the beginning of something new? They would quickly find out.

Part 3: Humanitys Last Hope by MasterOfMicro

A week had passed since Sophia had found the Earth. She constantly had it on her person, usually resting in her hoodie pocket when she went to school, but she often fidgeted with it throughout the day. When she got home, she tended to just stare and admire it. It was beautiful in a strange way, vaguely making out shapes behind the translucent blue mist covering it, while small white clouds swarmed around it. What exactly was this thing, she often pondered. Was it of extra-terrestrial origin? Perhaps it was an extremely high detailed model of a planet. Whatever it was, she was glad to have it.

The people of Earth could not disagree more. They were not glad whatsoever. Many had perished in the excrusciatingly long week since they came into Sophia's possession. Most deaths were due to Sophia's fingers flattening entire countries like nothing, but her body heat had also contributed to the death toll. Around half of Earth's population was wiped out, and the ones remaining knew they would join them soon. Nearly every problem that they had dealt with prior to encountering Sophia was now hilariously irrelevant. Stressful job? Chances are your building is destroyed or your boss is dead. Politics? Every politician, regardless of country or party affiliation, was only concerned with survival from the titanic teen threatening their existence. Practically every fued between countries was abandoned. Ironically, the threat of extinction had made Earth the most peaceful it's ever been.

Many of the rich and powerful people still around had been in close contact with top scientests, seeing if they had any solution to save anyone, specifically themselves. NASA made a secret announcement to a small group of people, saying that shortly before the wormhole oppened, they had created a spacecraft capable of transporting around 1000 people. The spacecraft did not require much fuel, and was capable of travelling at incredibly fast speeds. Despite taking measures to ensure only the rich and powerful heard the annoucement, it was quickly leaked to the public and spread like wildfire. Large groups of protestors showed up at NASA demanding to be allowed on the spacecraft. They then realised that placing young, physicially fit people on the spacecraft as opposed to older rich people made a lot more sense, and so NASA invited anyone between the age of 16-24 to attempt both a mental and physical exam. The top 500 scores of each gender would be placed on the spacecraft to flee the doomed planet and gain any sort of hope of saving the human race. Fearing they did not have much time before Sophia wiped out the planet entirely, the process was rushed and completed in just 2 days.

It was the middle of the night and Sophia was fast asleep. Massive crowds gathered at the launch base for the spacecraft, as the lucky 1000 boarded with intentions of saving their species. 500 males and 500 females, many being top college students or professional athletes, waved goodbye and the spacecraft launched. The Earth was currently situated on Sophia's desk, with the spacecraft headed towards the window of her bedroom, which was slightly open. Then disaster struck. A small gust of wind blew their her window, enough to significantly blow the microscopic spacecraft of course. It rocked violently and the engines began to fail. The people on board panicked as the craft began to plummet towards the surface. People back on Earth watched in horror as their last hope was doomed. The craft fell for what seemed like hours, before finally crashing landing on Sophia's heel, as her foot was just sticking out from her blanket. The violent crash unfortunately killed many people on board the craft and seriously injured many others, but a few were mostly unharmed. They ventured off the craft and onto the strange surface. "Where the fuck are we?" asked a man, still dazed from the crash, stumbling slightly. "I... think we're on her skin" replied a woman, before vomiting everywhere due to the intense motion sickness.

It took a few hours before everyone gathered their bearings, and despite it now being morning, it was a Saturday and Sophia happily continued to sleep in. With their now being light, the survivors of the crash could now see more clearly where they were. "Yep, she was right. We're definitely on her skin" remarked a man. Since the Earth was roughly about the size of Sophia's big toe, her foot was an incredibly vast landscape, stretching on seemingly forever. They looked over a breathtaking valley, so extremely massive it made the Grand Canyon look like a crack in the sidewalk. This was simply just a ridge in the sole of Sophia's heel. "Y'know, in a morbid way, this is kinda beautiful" said a woman.

Since most of their supplies were destroyed in the crash, and because Sophia would eventually wake up, they knew they wouldn't last long on Sophia's foot, so they simply decided to enjoy themselves as much as they could. Suddenly, they were met with a tremor hundreds times more powerful than the strongest earthquake. Sophia had woken up. Instinctively, she gently placed her feet on the carpet floor of her bedroom, as she stretched and glanced at her phone. This light action was enough to instantly wipe out the survivors on her foot. Humanitys last hope was ruined.

Part 4: So Crazy It Might Work by MasterOfMicro

Humanity didn't have much time to mourn those who died in the tragic spacecraft crash. They immediately had to focus on coming up with a new strategy to attempt to save their planet. NASA had began construction on a newer, safer, spacecraft; but the majority of humanity had lost their trust in NASA, and the project was soon scrapped. World leaders and top scientists were stumped. Escape wasn't a likely option and nobody was too keen on living the rest of their lives in underground bunkers.

Out of nowhere, a man burst into the situation room. "I've figured it out, everyone! I found a way we can survive Sophia's wrath!" he exclaimed. Naturally, since nobody recognized the man, they were skeptical, but not really in a position to ignore any ideas they reluctantly agreed to listen. "Now, I know this sounds crazy, but hear me out on this. I've ran the numbers and I figured the safest place for us is not on this planet" he explained. "No shit, Sherlock. But we can't escape the planet. We don't have the resources, and we don't want a repeat of the spacecraft tragedy" retorted one of the scientists. "Ah, yes, but you didn't let me finish. The safest place for us to live is Sophia herself. Specifically, in her mouth" he continued. The scientists looked at him like he was insane. "Mad man! How could we survive in mouth? You're a lunatic, we'd be swallowed immediately! And if not, what happens when she eats? That or we'd drown in her spit or be wiped out instantly by her tongue. Get out of here with that nonsense!" yelled a military general. "I understand your concerns, sir. But here is a map of the mouth. In this back corner, right where her wisdom tooth was removed, we'd be perfectly safe. I also ran some data, the temperature inside her mouth would be ideal for farming. I've also created a prototype for a device that could filter saliva into drinking water. Lastly, for food, we could survive of small crumbs of food that will naturally be in her mouth until we get a sustainable food source going" he said, showing off the map and prototype to the people in the room.

Everyone was dead silent. "Ok, even if you're right, how do you propose we get inside her mouth?" said one of the scientists, finally breaking the silence. "Unfortunately, that is the major flaw in my plan. As you've mentioned, we don't have the resources to relocate the entire population, nor do we want to risk another crash involving a spacecraft. My only solution is that Sophia, perhaps out of curiosity or boredom, simply places the planet into her mouth, and while it would still be a massive task to move to the back corner, it's much more feasible than doing it from here" he explained. Silence fell upon the room again. "I suppose... if there's no serious objections or better solutions" the scientist replied. Everyone shook their heads slightly. "Then I propose we move forward with this man's plan. All in favour?" she asked. Slowly and reluctantly, everyone in the room raised their hands. They got to work on the relocation as fast as they could.

The next several days were unusually quiet, and the interaction with Sophia had been minimal, as a result of her schedule with school being more hectic and her mom having more time off work to spend with her. This was great news for humanity, as they had time to work on getting small but quick spacecrafts ready that would be used to travel across Sophia's mouth if and when the time came. Supplies that would be used to rebuild their society were being loaded onto the crafts. Factories were working round the clock on the salivia filter device the man had invented. Everyone in the world, a population greatly reduced to around 100 million, was being taught how to survive in their soon to be new home. Reaction to the plan was generally positive, although unsurprisingly met with skepticisim and concern. Many weren't convinced Sophia would ever put the planet in her mouth, as it had spent a lot of time on her floor, and she typically only fondled it with her fingers or briefly rolled it with her foot, spending most of its time in her pocket or on her desk.

The few days of quiet had ended. It was now spring break for Sophia, and her mother had just left for Phoenix on a business trip. Sophia would be home alone for almost a week, with no school to occupy her time. Humanity rushed as fast as they could to complete the spacecrafts. No time for proper testing. To their surprise, the man's prediction became a reality much quicker than anticipated. On the first morning of Sophia's spring break, she was lazily typing away on her laptop. She looked over at the marble sitting on her desk. "Y'know, that thing has a funny smell to it. I kinda wonder what it tastes like, maybe its good" she said outloud. The reaction on the planet was a mixture of joy and panic. Yes, their plan could now go into effect, but it was still scary, and the chances of it actually working were very low. They hadn't built nearly enough crafts to fit everyone, which they knew would be impossible, but they still hadn't built as many as they had hoped. Only about 100'000 people were able to board. Sophia picked up the planet and gently rolled it off her palm and into her mouth.

The moment the planet passed her teeth, the crafts launched, making an immediate beeline for the back corner. Powerful lights showed the way as Sophia closed her mouth. Many looked back with great sadness as their planet rolled across her tongue. Then the unexpected happened. Sophia moved the planet to between her teeth, and bit down hard. The people on the crafts looked on in horror as the planet split in two large pieces, with fragments flying everywhere. Magma oozed out and onto Sophia's tongue. "Ahh! Hot!" she screamed, and spit the marble into a trash can. "Dumb marble, tasted awful anyway" she muttered. By some incredible miracle, not a single space craft was spat out. Many were thrown off course, but none crashed and soon sorted themselves out and continued the journey to the back corner.
