Why are psychology majors always so damn unstable? That's just a fact. Not all of them, but a fair bunch. More than half at any rate, and Allison ist no exception. I find her terribly annoying. She thinks she's smart, but she really isn't. Like she thinks the files might have been tempered with to make the convicts appear to be lying. Unless their world was completely Orwellian (which would explain the extreme number of executions) there would be ways to find the truth of that on the internet. I'm starting to think she was selected for Chevallier on account of wholly different reasons than she thinks. Maybe she was taught by Dunning and Kruger as well?

I'm Team Cathy, all the way. I'd love a Cathy chapter, although this teasing and hinting at what she does during her SPAR sessions is probably better to keep her magic going. She's absolutely amazing and well-written, like Brian, erotic without being pronographic. That's a rare breed.

Still hooked, thank you so much for updating so frequently!

Author's Response:

Thank you for the review! I don't like to generalize, but I'm kinda with you on psych majors. I've met a few at my university, and they're an interesting bunch. To be fair to Allison, though, if you remember from chapter 3 she was actually a political science major (although that might be worse...).

Yes, Allison was definitely not thinking straight when she was coming up with those conspiracy theories. Thankfully, she snapped out of it soon after.

I'm so happy that you're Team Cathy! I ended up liking her character a *lot* more once I actually started writing her. Thank you very much for saying she's well written.

Thanks for reading! I'm happy to be adding chapters regularly. This is the kind of thing where I won't be able to rest until it's done. I hope you enjoy what happens next!

That's one heck of a way to end a chapter. I can only see it going two ways from here, one is where somehow Allison is able to convince Cathy and the other is both Allison and Brain being on the run. Really interested in seeing where it goes from here and what unexpected turns await.

Author's Response:

Thank you for reviewing again! I'm glad you're excited for the next chapter. Our heroes are certainly in a tough spot. I hope you enjoy where it goes from here!

I've been folllowing this story with interest since you publlished it (sorry for not reviewing....)

But you have done a fantastic job worldbuilding here.

I also love how you worked up to this amazing cliffhanger, establishing how Cathy thinks of their accused tinies, and what she would do in this situation.

It really left me wanting more.

I saw another reviewer say Alisson should just knock her out, and I kinda thought that too.

I can see this leading to an argument, and mayube Brian being hurt by Cathy in said argument.

But at the same time, I'm hoping Allison might be able to convince Cathy of her perspective and that Brian is innocent. (But I don't know where you plan to go with this, and am excited to see more)

I will hopefully be able to review more.

Author's Response:

Thank you for the review! No worries about not reviewing before, but I hope I can look forward to more in the future!

I'm so glad that you're enjoying the story! I'm happy that you like the worldbuilding and buildup to the next chapter. There are definitely a few ways this encounter could play out, so I hope you enjoy what happens!

Loved the latest chapter, though I'm not sure where you're planning to go with the Cathy plot twist. Kinda saw this one coming, but not in a bad way. I just hope you figure out a way for it not to get too crazy without betraying any characters. Really, only thing that would make sense here is for Allie to knock Cathy out and go on the run with Brian. This would allow their story to continue, and perhaps lend them the tine and freedom to exonerate him.

Author's Response:

Thank you for the review! Yes, it would have been odd to have a character like Cathy in this sort of story and not have her meet Brian at some point. I hope you like how this encounter proceeds!
