I wouldn't consider myself a sadist, as extreme cruelty makes me sick, but I definitely had fun reading this story. Some of the sadistic parts where actually kinda funny such as when Scarlet tortured Clayton by sucking him bone-dry, or the times that Scarlet sent Clayton flying, especially at the start when the two had just met; they made me imagine what it would be like to be Scarlet in that scenario. However other parts of the story made me feel kinda sick such as the whole Clayton having to crawl around until his skin was raw, or the electric cage ; they made me imagine what it was like to be Clayton, and to feel his pain.

Overall, I feel like there was a good mix of gentle torture hat helped to balance out the more cruel aspects.

I really liked Alaina as she was sort of a beacon of kindness and hope in the otherwise unforgiving world that Clayton was being forced to live in, and that helped him to keep it together for a while until Scarlet would inevitably break him back down all over again. I loved the scenes in the bathroom, where Clayton could finally process everything going on, from his mother abandoning him, to his new life in the Asmodeus mansion, to all the punishment he would have to endure for a contract that he had no say in.

I especially liked the one where Scarlet interrupts Alaina and Clayton's interaction in the bathtub, and how Alaina shows Scarlet ways to get what she wants out of Clayton without having to physically hurt him, which gave me a bit of hope for Clayton's future, even though I knew in the back of my mind that it wouldn't stop Scarlet from being as vicious as she pleased.

Lydia's interactions with Clayton to me seemed a lot more carefree compared to those of her older sister, and were pretty fun to read. Sure she still joined in on Clayton's humiliation, but she wasn't as cruel cpmpared to the other girls which was a nice change of pace. She wasn't really trying to further break Clayton like how Scarlet was, rather she was just playing with him and there was alawys a bit of childish innocence behind her actions (1. I know she's still a child, and 2. well, as innocent as you can get when you're part of a sex-crazed demon family).

As for Clayton himself, I was kinda hoping he'd somehow make it to the end of the year and would be able to return to his old life without completely breaking down like he did at the end of Chapter 23 (I haven't been able to read the last two chapters on Patreon as I have no money, so I don't know if that happens; would love to buy them sometime though). It's really unfortunate that his mind broke so quickly into his servitude, although I admire how long it took to fully break story-wise.

All-in-all, this was a really good story that I'd definitely consider recommending to others (provided they'really interested in reading erotica).
