This is my favorite story of all time so it was a pleasant surprise when I came back for a re-read to see that this got an update. I hope you decide to do more with this setting/pair, I love it.

Giant women are really just applied power wankery when you boil it all down. Its always fun to read a story where you can see a way things could have gone into a normal good story about two people making each other grow, and the tasty despair of how the power difference makes that absolutely impossible. Its like big steppies on the concept of narrative itself

Agreed, power difference is the bestest. And yes, it was indeed intended for an equal happy relationship to be impossible from the outset just based on the differences between the two. Always delightful to write.

Hmm, a bitter tasting ending. I guess we can't always expect characters experiencing self reflection to end up growing at the end of it. Little human saved your life and made you evaluate your opinion of them for a time? But she said mean words to you? Better report her and have her rights stripped and turned into your prisoner/plaything. Quite the ego on the big lass. I'm interested in seeing if a sequel chapter down the road comes out showing what's become of Florina down the road, if Sona has developed a mean streak or delivers a more then meets the eye surprise.

They are quite transparent yes haha, is actually a setting we used as an RP setting and that setting was based pretty heavily on 40k. Happy you enjoyed.
