It was a fun read, it’s surprisingly rare to find size stories in the world of The Legend of Zelda, specially on the world of Breath of The Wilde, which it’s a shame because it’s my favorite Zelda (game and princess). I appreciated the detail and how consistently the massive sense of scale was portrayed across the story. My favorite part was how many of the game mechanics were incorporated into the story, which I thought was a brilliant idea. If anything I wish more aspects of the game, like Link’s paraglider or his stamina gauge would have made it into the story, although I understand you can only do so much details in a short story. In general I really liked the story, only the abrupt ending apures my enjoyment a bit, I really think we could have easily had a second chapter and would have love to see him reach Zelda, specially since I think he could have easily saved himself using the power of Daruk’s protection or even Mipha’s grace.

That was the original intention, in fact there was even a line about mipha's grace that got cut as per commissioners request. I had a lot of differing plans for this story, but a lot of it was cut due to most of it not falling under what they requested.
