Also nice too see that somebody else also thinks just shrinking stuff is missing some magic factor.

An entire kingdom to do her bidding is better than a scrying pool, I'd say. If she wants, they can build her another one!

I really like this story, and the concept of an ALL POWERFUL WOMAN / GODDESS. That said, I notice that Agatha's rule is noted as unchallenged; what if another woman / sacred virgin rose to counter Agatha?
Years ago I wrote a story (unposted) of a preitess and a group of celestial virgins who shrink a massive invading army and place them within the sunken floor of the preitess's great hall, before her throne. The Virgins go off destroying the massive, shrunken army in various ways. You reminded me of that story, perhaps I'll revisit it and post it.
Great story line. BRAVO!

There will be challenges to Agatha's reign, but those are stories for another time.
You should finish that story! I originally wanted the force that confronted her to be much larger, but couldn't justify how an entire field army would assemble within a couple minutes.
