Interesting how Penny arrives just as the first phone call has ended and leaves just as the second one begins. Penny is involved somehow and I think she working on both sides or even could be Lily herself.

Also, this graduate student that the professor recommended was female too. Is this woman Lily also? We don't know anything about Lily, her background or age. She could be anyone, anywhere and Abel could mistake her for anyone.

I got lost with the Lamia stuff. I'm assuming the devour part was true but it was with her vagina, not her mouth. Still, Abel thinks it's the mouth becuase all the people missing havent returned so he thinks she might have swallowed him which makes no sense to him either.

You know, Lily could also use a voice changer because Abel communicates with phones so often that you can never tell if it's Lily or the person Abel wants to talk to. We saw how easy it is for Lily to find someone so imagine all of Abel's contacts being controlled by Lily, only to realize that Abel, himself is next.

This is crazily awesome. I can't wait for the next chapter!

You make an interesting observation about Penny's timing. Could she be Lily? Maybe thats how she lured Gil? The grad student? The neighbor down the hall? Why did Lily go back to Abels? Maybe she never left... what about the lady cop?
