This story is written eloquently and intelligently. Very powerful for a short story, or a story period. The protagonist (I'm assuming her name's Adeline) is, interestingly enough, electrifying. Her merciless execution of her power is, in a dark way, extremely sexy. What's among the most captivating is her irresistability. Adeline knows she's beautiful and has startling confidence, which are two of the top characteristics that attract men. She's an extreme challenge; one that, unknown to her victims until the end, will plausibly be the end of them. Her appetite is insatiable. She swallows a man in love with her after he suffocates inside her panties, a possibility she clearly knew of ahead of time. She swallows one inside a hamburger by using doubletalk: she said she'd take one bite; she didn't say she wouldn't eat it in one bite (but she knew that's what he was thinking). The Darrel scene is in some ways the most powerful, as it's her first, and also since his terror and pleas only excite her further, making her desire to do it more. The more terrifying what she's doing gets for the guy, the more sexually stimulated she becomes. And the leotard scene was VERY sexy (my fetish for seeing beautiful women in leotards certainly played a role here). This guy she barely even knows performs nothing extreme toward her; faux pas, sure, but nothing severe. Then he gets shrunk by accident, and she swallows him for behaving in a rather normal way for someone so quickly put into such a traumatizing situation. She finds excuses to consume them. And the implication at the end, that she swallowed her own husband, was a real shocker. She's sexy and dangerous, and almost impossible to be caused to fall in love, which is an electrifying, and consuming, challenge. Honestly, reading the story really turns me on, the sexuality is so powerful, and strangely beautiful.

This is pretty cool. Most stories are done form the propective of the male. You mention this:
"I discovered that the shrinking effect was not random. For it to work there had to be an energy exchange. By that I mean, the guy had to notice me and feel an attraction toward me."
It would be interesting if there was an example of where it didn't work, perhaps because the man/boy was gay or had no sexual attractions and Adeline got annoyed. Though I doubt you will be adding anymore to this story anytiem soon.
