It's not that she doesn't trust him, Eris told her that if she does make him full sized she'll take away her power.
If she could, Eri would have let Sirus go immediately but the longer she keeps him the harder it is to do it.

I like the story so far. The way you capture their thoughts certainly keeps me reading. My one criticism is your placement of chapter 3. I almost thought it was an error thinking "I already read this..." only to realize the shift in perspective. I would definitely switch 2 and 3 so that it is less jarring.

This is wonderful. Sirius' crisis wisdom of "the life I knew is over, let's see how we can salvage this" instead of breaking down wonder if he had similar experiences in his former life or some other education that helped him adapt like this. And Eri is wonderful, it's refreshing to see a giantess who is kind of being nudged into it (by her alternate universe counterpart, no less).
