Cool story. Love the premise. The mind games are great. Melissa is cold and calculating. Very good at her job. Loved her exterminating the colony and enjoyed learning her history. Poor Wyatt.

Such a cruel species, to deliberately create tiny, helpless versions of themselves to torture and maim and kill "in the name of science."  I'm glad I don't live on such a cruel planet.

The terrible thing about monsters is that they often don’t even realize that they’re monsters.

We’ll see what happens with Heidi. She may or may not be slightly more mentally stable than Melissa.
