Wowie, this is well-written. I read a bit, in the middle actually, haven't gone through the beginning.

So, wow. Good stuff, I want to say. I don't think I'll ever finish it, due to my abject hatred of the omnipotence fetish, and that's not ragging on you or anyone who likes it, that's purely me. I think I'll be recommending this though, and definitely looking through your works.

Author's Response:

I'm gload you enjoy it even if it's not your cup of tea then, larkpie. :)

Feel free to read my other story if this one isn't to your perticular tastes. There's a difference with those girls compared to the ones in this one that might give you a better read. Hopefully.

Yep, I finished this long ago. I'm a very fast reader. And so I have nothing to read and I'm desesperate for new stories. If you have any recommendation I would gladly accept any (This is a response to the other comment. But I dont know how to respond to it, it doesnt let me, and I would have responded sooner. But I did not notice xD)

Author's Response: I'd say any of F.W's stories but he has a lot of stuff he writes so it's hard to find what you're into at times. @_@ But, he's one of my favorite writers so I'll shamelessly promote him. :P Totally has nothing to do with him being my friend or anything... *cough, cough...*

I love this story so much!! Are you going to do a sequel or something?

Author's Response:

Jumped right from Pay it Forward to Precious Little Demons? I think you did that backwards. XD

I won't say that there won't be a sequal but at the moment all my times invested in P.I.F. I'm glad you enjoyed this one. It was my first story and by far one of the best experiences I ever had. :)

Out of curiosity did you finish this one already? I'd be surprised since I made it so long. XD

It's the warmest day of the summer, the water company cut the supply for the whole city because of an emergency and now I see this final chapter uploaded to make my day.

;___;

It was such a beautiful ending, Claire finally got to a point in her life in which she can have real happiness and a family that won't betray her, and so did the other girls. The relationship she has with them is sooo adorable, specially with the twins. I'm sure she can keep them through the good path. I hope only the best for them.

It was a really touching story, reading about Claire and the girls, facing their problems, being betrayed, gaining trust in each other, themselves and overcoming themselves, becoming a better person. It's quite easy to make me cry with fiction but not so much to make me care for the characters as much as I did for these girls. Until now my favorite is still Kai but I got attached to all of them. It's a bit sad not to see more of the girls at least for the time being but I think the ending gave them enough closure.

Thanks again for writing this and thanks to Franchise Writer for helping you. I'll be reading your next story too when you get to it. Take care.

Author's Response:

Thank you KentaRyu for sticking with me till the very end. I've seen your reviews from day one, and you were one of the people who i got excited to see every time i posted a chapter. Thank you for always leaving me something to read. It really does make the world to a writer when we can see what people think of our work. and i'm glad to know my story made you feel the way it did.

I look foward to seeing what you think of whats to come. Thank you for supporting me. :)

I’m sad to see this finish. Seriously. This has been one of those special stories that knock it out of the park. One of those that you’ll randomly find scouring the website that you’d binge all the way through. I’ve loved this and a bit gloomy to see it go. I’m going to miss it.

However, I wanted to wait to right my final review on the Epilogue instead oof the fiinal chapter so I could do this:

As a tribute, I wrote a review of the entire story. It’s in third person written as if it was for someone who had never read it, meaning I’m keeping it vague for spoilers. (It’s easier to relay my opinions that way without going too overboard. I actually had to cut stuff out when it went over 700 words and I seemed like I was droning on :P)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I first saw this story on the most recent page around a year ago. Sitting there with its secrets. Waiting for it to be read and unveiled….

Well, it didn’t really have that much of a mystical build up. But, still.

I started reading through it quite casually. Not that engaged but still holding my interest - thinking it was an alright story with some decent characters.

But as I continued to read on, the story revealed itself to be a very well set-up and structured storyline with genuinely interesting characters. Each chapter set up in a way that each of the leads and supporting are developed individually and have them be the focus of their own segment. Comparable to TV shows like Skins - where each episode is from the perspective of a different cast member. In this roster there is:

Kat – A seemingly kind/innocent girl who talks about herself in the third person and has an adoration towards cats. Taking up their mannerisms and appearance.

May – An innocent but clumsy girl whom is the most balanced morally.

Kai – An eccentric and overly uncaring for her own hygiene.

Lily (Or Lilith) – A cruel and unforgiving girl with her own set of seemingly flawed moral code.

And Sophia and Alexis – Two blonde and mysterious identical twins who share their appearance with the uncanny twins from The Shining and seem to be able to exploit everything around them at will.

All of whom attend the same day-care and all share a unique pass-time...

Each girl has their own time to shine and are fleshed out well enough that you begin to understand that they’re all flawed in their own right. Opening up to the main character, and in-turn, the reader.

Speaking of which, what separates Precious Little Demons from those TV shows is that it doesn’t switch perspectives. It’s all tied together and told from the point of view of our main character; Claire. Who may at first may appear to only be a catalyst for the story to ensue, but is shown to have some demons of her own. As she gradually becomes a very interesting character in her own right.

And like I said, you grow to care for the equally (Totally not equally, Kat is my favourite) and know their goals but also their limitations.

I got incredibly enticed and hooked during those first few days of that I even read a few chapters on the train and stayed up some days reading well into the night. Each of the girls never stopped being interesting and I enjoyed it for how it played out.

Sadly though, all things most come to a close. Nothing lasts forever. Although in this story, it’s potentially set up to go on forever. But would I want that? In a way, yes. But ultimately, no. The story is over. I would definitely read short vignettes involving the same characters or a sequel story. But for now. It’s run its course.

And what a good one it’s been…

Thank you for writing this for me MarsyMan. Whenever someone goes about taking their time, to tell me their thoughts, especially as detailed as you have, i just feel elated. You've been here since the begining, and i'm glad you've seen my work come to a close. I know this story is finished but even so, it makes me happy how it ended. D'awww, there's nothing more romantic than a room full of flying objects while someone declares their love~

No but seriously I found that part really cute. It's a really nice ending. Claire realizing the twins' true feelings and having a happy finale with them and the other girls, plus Kat's new addition to her family.

I'm eager to read the last part, still, take your time with it and have it done when you thing it's right.

Thanks for writing this story.

Now that they realize they almost became monsters,  maybe they won't shrink people and use them as toys.

Author's Response:

I can see you're highly against GTS when it leans towards the crueler aspect of things. But i can say firmly, if a monster comes in to play for them, they'll do whatever means necessary to remove it from the picture. Claire however will be a guiding factor for them. They know the fine line they walk on, and know how dangerious of a game their playing.

I'm SUPER-happy to see the story go on!

And I think it becomes better and better. It's not a good giantess-related story - it's a great story as a story-story. Love the charicters: the "monsters" philosophy is good and I like to know where it's all going to.

Latest chapters are the best! And I would love to see the next one! *0*

Author's Response: I'm glad your enjoying it even if the last few chapters have seem rather tame of GTS compared to the earlier chapters. Either way thank you for leaving me your thoughts. I'll try to have the next chapter up soon. It's proving harder to write then I thought sadly.

Reviewer: KentaRyu Signed starstarstarstarstar [Report This]
Date: March 01 2017 4:25 AM Title: Who... are you?

It feels good to see stuff fall into place now with most, if not all, of the past revealed. I can see a nice constrast between the twins' attitude towards their friends before and now, saying things like "you must listen and follow us to the tee. If we say jump, you jump" in the past, which aren't exactly the most friendly words. It seems the twins have changed quite some in this time, for good I think.

What Claire and the other girls need now is time to process all this new information and see exactly how the twins have changed their life, specially Claire. Hopefully they can understand their reasons and maybe get to a good point in their relationship, I'm looking forward to see how all of this develops.

Now, sorry if this has been told before and I forgot about it but, Lily's wish hasn't been revealed yet, right? What about Lily's commentary on her and Claire being more similar than the older one thinks, was that because of both being part of the twins' scheme?

Great job as always.

Author's Response:

You're always quick to jump to conclusions, and most of them time their spot on lol. On regards to Lily's hidden wish, it's not just hers. The Twins had each of the girls tell them their deepest desires, and wishes. And each girl gave them one. What they are, will be revealed next chapter. I can't give away everything now can I? ~

Thank you for the review KentaRyu, i always look foward to reading yours. You read deeper then most and that excites me XD

As for Lily's commintary however, it was more that instead of Claire being just any other adult, she was like her. She was hurt, had been hurt. She was abused. She tried to run away. And... other, incidents that haven't fully been confirmed just yet. Make no mistakes, all the girls still have a lot that had happened in their past that hasn't been revealed yet. Whether it all eventually will be or i leave it up to the readers to figure out is still...

The words are raw and unedited, but the story siezes control and doesn't let go. Every character in the sizable cast has a distinct personality. Themes of betrayal and forgiveness are leveraged skillfully to create a masterpiece of storytelling. The saddest part, by far, is that the story is drawing to a close. Of course, it's already the length of two full novels, but I don't want it to end. I want to see Claire reunite and forgive (of course), but also how the plan unfolds, how things are five years from now, and so much more. Maybe if I leave a review after every chapter, you'll just keep writing them. :)

Author's Response:

Hehe, if i had kept with the story path i set out when i first started this i might have just held you up on that offer. But sadly, or i should say thankfully i was stopped a few chapters in and the story by far has made me happy as a whole where it otherwise might not have. Thank you for reviewing SpookyTaco. I know even with my work being edited by F.W. there's still a lot of mistakes i make he isn't able to fix for me... :(

So did they erase her memory of meeting them the first time or not? I assumed when they first said they had met her before that something bad happened and the twins wiped or changed her memory and she doesn't seem to react to any of it until the whole story is told. Look at me, questioning potential plot holes on GW lol.

Author's Response:

Lol XD

They had met her long ago, and learned a lot from her and wanted to eventually bring Claire into their world. But with her sincerity came her naivety. She wouldn't be ready to learn of  everything they had been doing. So they had planned on completing their plan before eventually bringing Claire into it, but they ran out of time...

Claire was reverting back to her old deppressed self because no one was there for her anymore. So, they stepped in. But they had to make her forget... so to not frighten her or change her irreversibly like they had with their friends. Their extremely cautious with Claire after all that had happened with their four friends. And Claire is the last one they'd want to mess with mentally.

I hope your reading this helps clear up any confusion. Or... possibly adds on a few other questions that i haven't answered yet...

Again, that was fast. It hasn't really been long since my last message.

For the twins even after getting all that knowledge to get to experience the human narute again, and see that that kind of behavior isn't just a limited case like with his father but a most frequent thing than we would like it to be should be quite shocking, of course it would make them doubt their effort. Though it's admirable that they still wanted to follow with their objective, even if not by the best means.

It was also quite interesting story to see the first interaction between the twins and Claire, is was really eager while reading. Sadly it wasn't in the best moment for them. Or maybe it was? Since it seems that'll open a oportunity for them to interact much more than they would on a regular situation.

The part in which Claire thought they finally would talk to her, when they were just leaving, that was quite sad for me.

Keep up the good work.

Author's Response:

the World on the outside can be shiny and beautiful but when you see the hidden parts beneath it can get ugly. I was hoping this chapter displayed that, and showed that the twins weren't above playing by thier rules... even if it meant stopping the Monsters. As for claire coming int, it was a fateful moment which i hope i displayed properly. I'm glad you liked it and i'm working on the next chapter now. I hope to see what you think on the next one. ...
You know what, now's as good a time as any to say this. So I'll retire from 4 years of lurking and just come out and say it.

This is my absolute favorite story I've read on this site.

It's not in competition for the most sexually pleasurable, inventive shrinking scenario, or polished story (and I mean that in the best possible way; your talent is abundantly clear, and with a bit more attention to grammatical errors and sentence structure, your story could match the technical level of polish of some of the site's greatest classics). But regardless of all of those, it's still the best story I've read throughout my stay on the site, for one simple reason.

This story is positively emotionally charged. Every chapter I read strikes me so deeply on the inside, filling me with genuine warmth or sadness depending on its content. Even the sentences that are a tad confusing bleed a strong sense of emotion through them, and it's abundantly clear just how much thought you've put into developing them. I can't remember the last time I've felt so much for fictional characters as I have for Claire and the twins, and their plight has developed them into becoming so inspiring, likable, and, above all, human. Ironically, you've done a masterful job at making two superhuman, omniscient girls extremely understandable and natural, something I never would have believed was possible prior to reading this.

So, I wanted to say thanks. Thanks for writing a story warmer and more uplifting than almost any I've ever seen. Thanks for inspiring me to look within myself and try to be a genuinely better person, and a responsible, thoughtful adult as well. And thanks for convincing me to finally write a review on this site, because I'm always elated to see a new chapter on the Most Recent page.

I'll stop gushing now. But I just wanted to let you know how much reading Precious Little Demons has meant to me, and I sincerely look forward to reading all future chapters. You have a work of art here.

Author's Response:

I, I don't honestly know how to respond to this...

You've put so much thought into this review, and your words... i'm honestly tearing up. T^T

It brings me great joy, and pride to know I can make you emotive and stir your feelings like this. Thats all i've ever wanted when i made this story. And i'm hoping i'll be able to keep those feelings going till the final words are written, and the story reaches its climax, as sad as that will be for me.

Saying thank you in return might not seem like much, i say it to everyone who reviews for me, but i mean it none the less each time i say it. When someone takes their precious time to tell me what they think, and give me that time, it makes me feel revered by them. So i'll say it again, Thank you. Thank you so much for telling me this. This, is one of the most sincere responce's i've ever gotten from this site, and it's really struck a cord in me.

I'm happy to be writing here, because it's people like you, who make me proud to be a member of this community.
