Well Neil has been having a rough day. I'm certain that he was aware his family considered him embarassing but he probably never imagined they'd turn him out like this. I do wonder if some member of the family might have been pushing for it harder than the others. He may even wonder if he'd even be alive if this had happened before the omegas came to be. Probably not a thought he wants to entertain but there it is.

I do wonder what Lucy intends to do though. She's angry so she's probably not thinking ahead too much but if they're willing to turn out their son without any of his belongings what does she hope anything she might say will accomplish? 

I like the take on the family, not the usual obviously abusive, but clearly cold and unloving. Kicked him out the second it was legal to do so. Hope Lucy kicks their asses.

Ah, what a way to introduce a blind character(right?). Ackbar said we'd enjoy this story, and he couldn't have been more right. Thank you for the chapter, it was awesome reading it.
