Diminutive Duo sure made for a good and suitable pun.

Valmont Kildeer makes for a good Val Kilmer alias too.

Author's Response: Maybe I'll strive for a trilogy.

I must confess I did not expect this story to end so soon and with Batman and Robin remaining shrunk.

Author's Response: T'was always the object, good sir. ;-)

I don't think super heros make very good pets. But that's just my opinion.

Author's Response: I could say the same thing about baby alligators and pythons. But, some people (with more dollars than sense) still buy those critters on the exotic pet black market!

Looks like Timescribe forgot the first chapter by the time he read chapter 4, but making Batgirl the mother was indeed a great idea.

Author's Response: Thanks! But, don't worry about letting details of the back story elude you. I like to live by the immortal words of Bugs Bunny (who, admittedly, might've been quoting Jim Morrison of the Doors): "Don't take life too seriously. You'll never get out of it alive."

In our last Bat episode, Carycomic had writer's block. Will wisdom lead to PRUDENCE? Will the late silver age comics' mention of Bruce Wayne being the original Robin have profound significance in this story? For the answer, watch the next episode, same gts channel, as soon as Carycomic thinks it up.... or dreams it up.

Author's Response: As was mentioned in our first chapter, Richard Grayson-Wayne had become the new Batman. While his own son (by Yvonne "Batgirl" Gordon) had become the new Robin. Will Timescribe ever get it right? Tune in for the chapter 5 review (after consultation of your local listings).

Batman (esp 1960s) is so readily open to satire, and puns make it even better.

Looks like Batman and Robin are going to get shrunk. Based on their reaction to the shrunken Mr. Killdeer I guess size change is not common in their universe.

Author's Response: They certainly haven't experienced it in the nearly forty years since DARK NIGHT OF THE OBELISK.

Oh no,.. not 'Peanut oil'!  ~'Quite the crispy little french fry he'll be',..

. "*.*".

I like the 'New' Batmobile.  However, I think it would run better on jet fuel,... rather than,.. well,... Bat Scat... LOL!

Author's Response: It's the Batmobile from the 1989 Michael Keaton movie. But, "greened up" as part of my own personal reboot (or should I say "re-Bat?") of that film and its three sequels.

Looks like you've bought the recent Batman TV series release. Do the comics really have any reference to Jim Gordon being short for Anthony James Gordon? I'm only up to 1999 in my batman reading, but I've never struck it.

Author's Response: In this reimagining, the Pat Hingle version of Commissioner Gordon is the son of the Neal Hamilton version. And, in the comics of the 1970's, Batgirl had an older brother--named Tony--who worked for the American government as a globe-trotting secret agent! I've simply amalgamated the two concepts.

Never thought I would see bat guano used in that way. This story reminds me of the 1960s batman tv series.

Author's Response: It's mostly based on that. But, with some extrapolation of what the first four WB Bat-flicks might've been like if they had been Self-produced in the same vein as the TV show.

Or is it a spin off from Invasion of the BAT ON Twirlers" ? LOL

Amusing lampoon of 1995 Batman Forever movie star Val Kilmer too.

Author's Response: Thanks. As far as I'm permanently concerned, Alec Baldwin could've done a better job, as Batman, opposite Nicole Kidman. He already done a great job playing the Shadow (as in "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?"), that same year!

Second generation Batman,... Cool!  Valmont Killdeer?  H'm, I got this feeling that the Riddler might be involved in this somewhere, or the 'Junior Riddler' maybe the Riddlers daughter?  Yeah, that could be cool too!

Can't wait to what's happened to ole' Valmer, he's probably in pretty deep by now?

;`)  I'm gonna try and keep up with ya on this one Dude!

Author's Response: Thanks! :-)

Oops! My imaginary lawyer, Izzy Serious, just reminded me that I forgot the usual disclaimer about DC and Time-Warner owning these characters. So, I don't make a penny off of using them.
