We'll just have to see! It'll depend on who has charges pressed against them by the end. It couldn't be Bridget, though, since this is chronologically post-Inheritance.

My heart is absolutely racing, and you paused it so abruptly! I have to agree with NightEye here, Lauren can simply threaten to report all of this, can't she? Her mom's already broken the little guy's arm, she can file that for aggresion to Aegis. Then again, I don't think Britney's in the right state of mind to heed such warnings.
Gotta hand it to you for making Ian stand up for himself. He's got a calm disposition for this kind of situation, and I like that, knowing that kicking and screaming won't get you anywhere.
I've forgotten to ask, how long do you think this one'll go? Planning for a happy ending on Christmas? Also, I've been happily awaiting the conclusion to Watch Over, is its ending coming up next?
Finally, I'm curious as to how you can consistently update and juggle three stories at once. Do you plan far far ahead, or do the stories simply write themselves?

Lauren does have that option, and may be using it very soon; Britney is indeed not thinking clearly enough to consider that.
Ian's probably had a tough enough life that he's learned the only way to keep from losing himself is to stay true to his feelings.
There are 3 chapters left of this. I'll be posting the end to Watch Over very soon.
I plan fairly far ahead and then write chapters of whatever I'm in the mood for in quick bursts. Thanks for the review!

Ian has alpha sized balls to stand up for himself and his relationship like that. If Britney does anything to him I hope the Omega that takes care of her will be Jenna.

Britney isn't very smart. If Omegas are the rulers of the world, injuring - or worse - killing a Beta on purpose is what will destroy any hope of a career or college education for her. Her mother even said so in chapter 2 : "the people making those decisions are pretty liberal".
Best she could do is get the hell out of there before she does anything to Ian.
But that wouldn't do well for the plot. ;)

You're right that there's not a great way out of this for Britney. We may soon see that she has other motivations besides job security, though. ;)
