Gee, why do all these stories get me so emotional. I guess that’s the goal isn’t it. Like, usually there is very little to no kinky stuff at all and yet I’m so incredibly engrossed in every interaction in these stories, and all the horrid circumstances we get characters in.

Like, seeing Lauren stand up to her entire family after they held her down and about murdered her fiancĂ©…freaking trauma man. Glad it had a happy ending. Probably will with most of these stories but there is always a strong hint of bittersweetness that hurts my heart. I just want thing to go well all the time.

Good story. With every Omega story we get a better understanding how this World/Universe works.

Author's Response:

Thanks. That's definitely the goal.

Loving this story especially the Mom. When she snapped his arm. Priceless.

Thanks for reviewing!

Ah, well I didn't mean in the sense of a "direct" sequel in that its focus will be entirely on Bridget and Lexi, just that the events of Inheritance, given the cliffhanger in that story, seem like the events of that story are definitely the cause of the plot of your next foray into the Omegaverse.

*Spoilers* Still, with Alma seemingly a major player, and how prominent Lexi no doubt is after what happens, I can't imagine she'll just be left alone, nor that Bridget won't feel some responsibility for the train of events and want to do something about it.  I also really hope they at least get a chance at a reunion after the time apart they need, or even due to the tumultuous events of the next story making their paths coincide--I still really feel the need to see some glimpse how those two's relationship ends up when all is said and done. :P

Anyway, great work as usual, and I eagerly await your next story, Omegaverse-related or otherwise.

Author's Response:

The aftermath of that cliffhanger will be the main focus of the next one, and Alma will be a major player with definite ramifications on Lexi. I can't say we'll see them directly in that story, but I do plan to eventually address what happened after Inheritance for Lexi and Bridget. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and I'm glad you enjoyed.

While it didn't draw me in quite like Inheritance did, this was still a wonderful story and a fun new romp in the Omegaverse; though I think Inheritance just drew me in much more not because of any difference in writing quality, but because the general concept just grabbed me, personally (innocent person punished for crimes she didn't commit, especially at the hands of a giant friend who thinks she's guilty).

Overall, though, this story helped sate some desire for more Omega stories, and is still definitely better than most anything else on the site, so thanks once again, Jacksmith, for writing it.

I'm still greatly looking forward to the "sequel" to Inheritance, as well (crossing fingers for satisfying Bridget/Lexi meetup).  I was hoping that since Ackbar's busyness was due to class work load and such that he might be finishing Consequences relatively soon (another story I really want to see the conclusion to), as I figured he'd be on Christmas break now and have some time to write.  Know anything about his state of affairs, Jacksmith?

Author's Response:

Thanks for your comments; I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I wouldn't quite call my next Omega story a sequel to Inheritance, since it isn't meant as a direct continuation of Bridget and Lexi's story, though that still may very well appear at some point on its own. Ackbar's been busy, but I know he does have the Consequences ending planned out.

lol vyeah, great chapter. I admit i didn't saw lesbian side coming. Now remember the christmas is nigh, so be gentle in your writing !

Author's Response:

Hehe. Who knows, maybe I'm more the Nightmare Before Christmas type?  >:)

They'll all be laughing about this next year. :)

Author's Response:

Hehe. Optimistic, aren't we?

It's starting to get me. I'll admit that this story doesn't have that instant attention grab that your last Omega story did for me, but it's starting to get interesting...

Looking forward to the next update.

Author's Response:

That's fair. This story definitely has more of a slow-burn quality than Inheritance. I hope you enjoy what's to come.

Wow - this is actually kind of painful to read. Replace "Tiny" with "Gay" and this exact same conversation could unfold all over the world. Lines like "No, I'm the normal one" are probably all too true.

Author's Response:

That's definitely a thought I had when writing. Not that the story is supposed to be taking a social stance, but I knew the scenario wasn't that far removed from real life.

I agree with Cloud, this looks bad for Ian & Lauren! Only hope is 'liberal' Millie making stand

Author's Response:

;)  Things are definitely going to depend on some of the family having a change of heart.

I'm loving this story, i dont know about anyone else but i'm hoping Lauren's family is evil and abusive, it's much more appealing that way to me.  Very much hope there is some f/f parts and some foot parts to go along!

Author's Response:

Thanks for reading. There is definitely some pretty intense conflict on its way.

I'm afraid that Laurens' family is going to break laws, and end up in confinement. I've already grown to love the beta, omega relationship, and I can't say I can very well stomache beta voilence as much anymore. The family already seem to be mostly prejudiced, hatefilled, voilent, people who are willing to "do anything" to stop a beta from being apart of the family. I don't have much hope for Ian & laurens relationship lasting to much longer, and I am getting this feeling lauren will do something on accident, and that the omega involvement will be too late; I have a sinking feeling I'm being to optomistic for your writing style.

Author's Response:

Well, don't lose all hope just yet! It is Christmastime, after all. ;)

At first, I was like, Oh cool, another happy Omega story thst I will spent looking for new chapters to read like a page addict. But then, I was like, Oh wait, this is a Jacksmith Omega story. This will not be a happy story. :( It's like thinking you found a new cocaine dealer, but found out its actually a new heroin dealer who takes less time to release new chapters.

Author's Response:

Don't worry, I'll try to throw in a little cocaine with the heroin.

Golly, starting off with the holiday suffering right away, huh? How interesting. The F/f tag is very intriguing.

It'd be a real breath of fresh air if Ian turned out to be a rational and assertive man filled with righteous wit, willing to put his miniscule foot down for the woman he loves, rather than the usual (excuse my terminology) beta tinies turn out to be.

I'm getting my hopes up too high, aren't I? Let the suffering begin I suppose, I hope my heart can take it.

Author's Response:

Not that I want to spoil, but that F/f may or may not be intended for the eventual appearance of an Omega.

I promise Ian is a far better person than the central Beta of my previous story in this series. Hopefully you enjoy what's to come.

I'm really liking this. I'm a sucker for holiday themed stories. Looking forward to seeing more of these characters.

PS will you add more tags or will this be a foot free tale(say it isn't so).

Author's Response:

Thanks man. I'm afraid it is so: the foot action won't be as present as in my other stories, but that's not to say a few feet won't be stomping by the end.
