Have you considered just continuing the Sarah/Max part of the story, or splitting that out altogether? So great so far, deserves to be continued! One of my favorites.

Author's Response: Thank you for the review! No, I honestly haven’t considered that but it’s not a bad suggestion. I got stuck writing a chapter for Detective Wallace. Writing the chapters for Max and Sarah were my favorite. I feel like the story may lose something without the larger mystery/crime plot, but I’d hate to leave the story unfinished and disappoint people even more. I will give your suggestion some serious thought.
