That someone eventually would be kind to their tinies was more or less expected, but I was 100% sure it would have been someone's mom, not a sibling - and definitely not a stepsister!
It was sort of hinted in the previous chapter, but I'm surprised anyway (I need to take longer breaks between chapters; thinking wtf is the clue to defeat Julia is going to help :)
Author's Response:
Glad I was able to surprise you. And keep your eyes peeled; there really is a hint about it in there somewhere!

Ruby is awesome, I'm kind rooting for those two now most of all.
Author's Response:
Thanks, glad you liked her.

Nice to see a story taking a realistic approach to this thing and not just everyone being crazy and evil. I do have a bad feeling that our protag is going to wind up just being shrunk himself to keep him silent, but can't help but hope for a different outcome.
Poor Ruby, though, having to torture her sister she loves only to please her psychotic mother.
Also like how the people being reviewed who got shrank are getting less and less...condemable? The first guy kinda deserved it skipping out of his wife and daughter and leaving them in poverty. Still a bit :/ but its hard to take the guys side.
Now, though, the shrunken people don't deserve the treatment they get at all.
Author's Response:
Thanks for reading! I'll hold off on commenting on the outcome of it for now.
The cases are definitely intended to have a lot of gray area, with more of a lean toward the shrunken.

only to uncover darker revelations about the business he’ll soon wish had stayed buried.
@Carycomic: I'm thnking the exact same thing. We may find out that the higher-ups know exactly what's going on, and think it's just peachy.
Author's Response:
*muffles a devious snicker*

I normally give chapter-by-chapter reviews. But, this was such an intriguing story premise that I continued on, straight through! It's refreshing to see a story, here, that shows a normal-sized person examining both sides of the proverbial coin, re: size-changing. And, possibly, coming to a negative conclusion that might get get even _him_ shrunken in retaliation!
Author's Response:
Thanks for reading/reviewing. And that's certainly a fair prediction you've made about possible outcomes...

Things that were hinted at earlier are now in full view. This is, I think, more realistic than most stories. In real life you'd have some uncaring people like Lillian, but you'd also have people who care about the wellbeing of tiny people, like Ruby.
Author's Response:
Thanks for reading! This case, as well as the upcoming one, are meant to acknowledge that not every giantess is a raging psycho.
