You know the most frightening thing of all about this one-shot? It's all too possible! I mean, think about it: American prison inmates aren't allowed to vote at normal size. So, why would career politicians want to give shrunken law-abiding citizens the power to vote when the latter can't even reach up to pull the polling lever?

This is an interesting way to establish a fetish universe by laying down the basics first in more of a journalistic style. The fact that so much time is covered in a short space here does leave quite a few questions open (ie: why/how the rights of the tiny people were lost so rapidly), but that seems like something that would be further fleshed out in a narrative. I found the point about the aging process stopping kind of odd, but hey, it's fiction and you seem to have thought this all through. The durability aspect of the tinies seems like a good way to ensure fun times can be had with characters you write without things getting too messy. Good luck as you start writing in this universe you've made for yourself.

While I'll admit that all of the large paragraphs seemed daunting at the beginning... This was definitely worth reading!
It's an awesome idea you have here. The 'durability' factor is highly encouraging, because I'm mainly attracted to the gentle side of this fetish as well.
Now that we've learned how these people started shrinking, and how easy it is to aquire one, I'm excited to see what stories you have planned.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. It shouldnt be terribly long before my next work is released, and will probably involve Ms. Liu as mentioned in this story. In fact, I intend to create a fairly in-depth world for my characters. Hope you enjoy what I have in store!
