Posted this on gts city so I thought I might as well post it here:
What a chapter!!
First of all, holy shit Derek is dead.. Quite possibly the most honorable man in the Phoenixes, he will be missed.(just when I was starting to like the guy too) But I did appreciate the way he went out. I also especially loved the size related details you had in here be it when Gabby was running towards Aviel and looking up or when Aviel repositioned her foot causing havoc for Derek and Gabby. I really liked the humor you've added with Gabby's dialogue regarding Derek(Slab Manrock being my favorite lol). Was glad that Pyrrha found his body so that they can give him a proper burial, it's the least they can do for him( feel really sad for Jacob but also poor Kimberly who doesn't show a lot of emotion but his gruesome death will no doubt devastate her unless she's already numb to it all).
I'm kinda surprised that since Aviel has indeed gone beyond salvation she didn't try and trick Sanders into giving her the "legacy". Was honestly hoping she'd catch him so that she could interrogate him later... Wow, still can't believe she is officially a bad guy. I was hoping against hope that she only acted the way she did because she was never alone with Sanders but now that she was and this is what she did...(killing around 20 people plus Derek) I also am surprised she didn't recognize Gabby in the bottle with her HUD visor(or whatever its called) but maybe that's why she tried to pick it up when she thought Gabby was still inside... Was shocked at the amount of carnage she caused with so little effort(like when barely sliding her foot crushed poor Derek and sent him flying, also can't believe she didn't recognize him either... Or if she did she didn't say although I find that hard to believe)

And the confrontation with Aviel and Sanders was exactly what I was hoping for. From the way she stood over him like Lutice did them both, to the way she tried to catch him in her giant hand. Also when she was trying to demand the legacy getting nowhere with Sanders except when she threatened to crush the remaining resistance hidden in the rubble.(loved the dialog throughout this entire chapter to be honest)

So now that they were going to hightail it back to Miranda's house for her daughter and maybe some supplies, Flonne heals Aviel and she comes charging at them from around the corner like a bat outta hell. Holy shit. And her shield is back at 100% while they have to wait for the air cannon to recharge... I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Zanderas you are the man!! And you say we have more surprising coming up?!

Finally, the confrontation I've anticipated for so long...

I've got a lot of questions in my mind after having read this chapter...

Is Aviel not the slightest bit astonished that Sanders is still alive and achieved this much?

Is she secretly enjoying towering over Sanders now or doesn't she allow herself any pleasure on her trip of revenge?

And will we ever get told what happend during the events of Act 2 from Aviel's and Flonne's perspective?

I hope Aviel manages to capture Sanders so they can have a long, deep and private talk with each other!

I can't await the next chapter!

Yes we will see Act 2 from the Society's perspective. And that is the only question I will answer.
