OK! That was strangely anti-climactic. Darius doesn't believe Sanders' story, which seems to indicate that maybe he didn't know she was psionic, after all! Then, again, Sanders didn't recite the catch-phrase that was supposed to be indisputable proof she sent him to Darius. As for Scout Lindsey's report; is she working for the Society's alpha female...or Slutice?

Author's Response:

err....Actually, Sander did say it WAAAAAYYYY back in chapter 2. Its the only reason Darius and Derek even started to listen to him.

And Scout Lindsey is a Phoenix scout, not a Society scout. She was mentioned way back in Chapter 2 as well.

Excellent Chapter

I think Lutice will be even more turned on that Sanders managed to escape another seemingly inescapable situation.

I really got god of war vibes when Sanders was fighting the giantess

Also I wonder if Pyrrha underwent something similar to Fionne when Sanders used the nanobots on her, it would be nice if she got a surge of intelligence or at least started to learn how to talk.

Finally when are we going to see Aviel again?

Author's Response:

She will be. Also be pissed as hell that he left her. Sanders has a date with some angry sex if he gets caught.

I was going for that and a mix of Shadow of the Colussus. Both have been kinda the insperation on how to fight something that big.

heheh, all I am going to say for that.

She will show up eventually. After all, she knows about Lindale too...

It's so funny that his best friend through thick and thin has been a catgirl, the very beast of his nightmares!

I really like the bond between them: Sanders has also saved her life a couple of times now. Whether that may be ONLY to use her or because he actually cares about her remains to be seen, but it's still heartwarming.

Author's Response:

Indeed, I wanted that to be sorta ironic. The one thing he is deathly afraid of is the one thing that has save his ass.

And if you like it so far, you will like it the rest of the way.
