I certainly looked at that chapter. Any IT folk with tips on how to recover a previously viewed web page?
Dug the newest chapter. It was really interesting how Rain almost immediately realized that Sheila had a point about the helplessness of non-elevated people. It's like even the kind elevated people view the struggles of the normals as a little pathetic. Makes Ramona's casual domination of Greg a little more understandable if even through her love he seems just fundamentally inferior.

Thanks for the comment. The relationships between elevated and normal is the entire point of this story and I hope I'm conveying the changing dynamics well. Not all elevated are as harsh as Sheila or conceded and dangerous as Walter but at a fundemental level it's hard to argue that there not superior. it's up to Rain to decide how she'll deal with that now that she's elevated herself.

SO now we all see why you kept saying sheila was misunderstood. Hopefully rain can show Sheila how she was wrong to go about it that way, but teach tyler the lesson in a more loving way. As hopeless as it is being a normal in that world maybe the two girls can make him feel better... a lot better ;)

I'm very doubtful that will happen as I don't see the two girls liking each other very much but you never know things seem to be happening exactly the way you want them.

I’m in a weird place where I kind of felt bad for Sheila. While her methods were deplorable, it was fairly obvious she liked Tyler and her goal was protecting him albeit in a perverse way. It's clear she isn't done yet though so maybe that emotion is more than like.
It'll be interesting to see was Rain can do. Aside from being tall and glowy she's a blank slate.

Yeah people are hardly ever black and white. That being said Sheila is still a smug self absorbed class 2 with a mean streek in her whose not used to being denied what she wants sooo...(I wish there was a shoulder shrug emoticon)

Ugh that is a huge bummer on that last chapter. Maybe someone has it saved, I wish I did. I trawled through google's cache but the most recent version of this I could find was before you posted Sibling Rivalry.
Enjoyed this chapter, glad to see I was more or less right on Sheila :P. Enjoyed that most of understanding between her and Rain, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the latter can do and how that relationship goes.

Yeah I tried that too! Unfortunate but oh well. Hopefully rewriting it will make it better. I have more planned with Sheila and Rain this is only there first skirmish. They understand each other but have very different viewpoints on how they'll interact with normals, and don't think Tyler is just going to sit on the sidelines for all this.

She sees it as less of being a bitch and more of her being honest. She thinks the only way Tyler is going to survive in this new society is by being complacent and learning that the reality that he will always be controlled by other people. SHe doesn't think she's being a bitch even if she is.
