Hey an update.  You know, this traffic incident highlights just how much Claire is about correcting the behavioral flaws in others.  It's something that takes a bit of insight, though Claire still seems pretty young to have that level of wisdom now that I think about it.

I like the chapter, it was a nice little tidbit that fleshes out the Omega world. I kinda didn't like that condecending way Clair behaved in the chapter. Well she DID save lives, but at the same time it kinda felt like she derived some weird form of pleasure just from being so powerful and in-control of the situation...The fire affecting her perhaps? I don't know. Great chapter though!

Well, I feel it's important to keep in mind that Claire is coming directly off a rather emotional conversation with Stephanie. So from her perspective she's just now kind of recovering from that, getting kind of cheery again, and then this asshole comes along and almost kills some folks right in front of her. I think she's well within her rights to be condescening :P

 

That said, I've always written Claire as someone who enjoys the benefits of her size, even if there are some aspects of her biology she's not nearly as fond of.

In any case, thanks for reviewing, and overall I'm glad you liked the chapter :)
