Well-well-well! A happy ending for this sequel. But, a suspenseful segue' into the next one. Which raises the question: who might these co-conspirators be? The female sounds a lot like Eris, goddess of discord. But, the male has me stumped. It could be Aphrodite's often-bemused husband, Hephaestus (a.k.a. Vulcan), blacksmith of the Olympian gods. It could be Ares, god of war (and, according to some reference books, Eris' brother). Or, it might even be Hermes (a.k.a. Mercury), chief messenger of the Olympian gods! After all, he was also regarded as a trickster-figure. The god of thieves and merchants.*

*Which makes me wonder if some ancient Greek customer got over-charged for something and, so, thought of them as two different names for the same thing.

Author's Response: I guess I did my job then! I wanted to really make the reader wonder who the two talking were. I decided to go with no clues whatsoever to make it more interesting. You'll have to wait and see in the next story my friend! Thank you for all your reviews! I really appreciate it!

I was wondering when you'd do this.  I reasoned a long time ago that if there was one Greek god, then where are the others?  And how long before they intervened?  I have to admit that last game really had me worried.  I guess it distresses me when a parent could do something like that to their child.  On another note, I'm still waiting for the one girl that WILL remember after the conclusion of a game.  Hoping it will be one of the gentle giantesses that remembers.

Author's Response: Well, I did tell you about something about that a while ago. I still plan on delivering on that. Also, I plan on adding more Greek mythology to the next story. Thank you for the review!

It figures Aphrodite would renege on her end of the deal, after Jon kept his by helping Bridget escape.

Uh-oh! Looks like Dr. Frankenstein isn't the only one who created a monster. ;-D

*Reviewer's eyes glaze over as he has a precognitive vision.*

Bridget eventually escapes and re-enlarges. Only to keep Jon-jon small, for her own podiatric pleasures!

Author's Response:

Anything can happen, right? :P

Ingrid "shoe" lost her temper, that time.

In the immortal words of Wm. Fakespeare: "Vanity, vanity; thy name is Ingrid."

"I'm sorry, Bridget."

Don't be so modest, Ingrid. You're more than sorry. You're pathetic!

Does Aphrodite have _no_ respect for the modern church?

;-)

And this chapter gives new meaning to the phrase: "Slipper he when wet."

X-D

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm! Well, I doubt that he's going to seek the aid of Bridget or Melanie. For one thing, with her newly acquired power to shrink things, Ingrid is probably going to make Brigid Jon's fellow prisoner, anyway. Which would naturally make Melanie too scared to try and help out her sister!

In short (no pun intended)? I'm going to have to wait for ch. 23, to see what happens. But, at the rate you're presently going, I don't think the wait will be long.

Yes, it does, Jon. And before Aphrodite grows bored with this round, you are going to wish you had never lost your temper. Especially if (repeat: IF) Bridget gets shrunken, too!

YAY! I finally win. :-D

Author's Response: Yep! I felt bad I never got to answer your other bets in time, but for this one you were right on the money.

OK, this bet I _have_ to be a cinch to win: he gets shrunken in the middle of his talk with Ingrid. Instant foot-slave for at least a week!

Author's Response: Alright, it's a bet! We'll see who wins later today ; )

Well, at least she ended his "vacation" on a good note. Or, should I say, "foot" note?

;-D

Author's Response: Yes, you could haha

And, it will be at this point that Killjoy Aphrodite ends Jon's recreation period, I'll bet.

I'm curious about how Jasmine feels about all this.  I noticed she didn't give him food or water, bath him, or let him do his "business".  And I'm concerned that Jon isn't concerned about this.  Its just something I noticed.  Not sure if its a mistake or is intentional.  Otherwise, very nice.

Author's Response: It was somewhat intentional. Aphrodite makes it so Jon doesn't need to eat, drink, or do his business. However, he can if he wants to. He doesn't have to.
